I got some of this from Waxit Yesterday http://www.waxit.com.au/products/poorboys-all-purpose-cleaner-apc-946ml-3-78l Was really good stuff. Has just enough foam with agitation to make removal of dirt easy. Spray agitate wipe away. Didnt have a super awesome smell like some other products but good value for money and can be used on almost anything. Cheers, Mav

Hi Nicr4wks, I was running with the distribution of AMMO in Australia. Unfortunattly when it was first released we were not seeing a high enough volume and shipping was too expensive for our volumes. I would suggest that the cheapest option would be for you to purchase directly from the ammo website. Arts awesome effort on the 300 they are a HUGE car!! And even harder in black Great results! Top work on getting a completed photo as well. Mine were all taken nearing darkness as the car took so long to complete!

Detailed a Porsche Panamera Turbo. An Amazing Car. It was a US import and had a lot of fall out on the car and poor maintenance of the paint. Didnt get any good shots pre detail due to it belting with rain and iphone poor quality. This thread is awesome! Great to see so much interest in keeping our cars and other clean. Just a quick one of a 35 I detailed recently. I washed, Clayed and Corrected light scratches and swirls from the car. I completed a 2 stage correction with IP200 and SF4000. I have also applied a layer of AMMO Skin and AMMO Crème for protection.

WOW What an exceptional example of a GTR! Your efforts are exceptional! Your attention to detail is outstanding and your results have shown this in every photo. Your engine bay is clean enough to eat off awesome! One of your most valuable posts is where you have mentioned reapplication. This is sooo important. All the effort you have put into making it look fantastic can be all wasted if you don’t re-apply your protection, and keep applying it often. ARTZ, Whare you are saying here is not a bad thing, and putting a Wax only on a car instead of applying a sealant will provide a level of protection. The problem is the protection will not be long lasting. You may find that (depending on how you use your car) the wax will last for maybe 6, 8 weeks? If you keep re-applying the wax on a regularly basis say ever 4 weeks then you will never notice a change. The wax provides a high level of shine and in some respect an element of protection. The benefit to applying a Sealant is that is a lot stronger and you will get a longer period of protection. Also it’s an additional layer between the elements and your paint/clear. I would be suggesting applying your sealant and then keep applying a wax over the top of that. Using AMMO as an example Skin has been designed to be applied and then the ability to reapply over the top of its self. This enables you to build up the layers. It’s ideal to apply these layers 24 hours after each other but again this is an ideal world so if you left it over night then the second layer would still stick ok. Then you can apply the AMMO Crème (WAX) over the top of the layers of Skin. The other thing to keep in mind when you are polishing down a scratch is that you are cutting away a layer of paint / clear each time you do it. Sometime you need to make a judgment call on how much are you going to cut and is it worth taking out the scratch vs how much paint will be left. Now if you have a Paint Gauge meter you can work this out no worries but if you don’t just keep in mind how old your car is and if it has ever had a respray etc. Cutting it down to the point where it's almost gone and then applying a sealant or wax over the top will fill in what’s left. Although this isn't the perfect and ideal solution sometimes it's the best call to make. Last thing you want to be doing is cutting it down to a metal panel. This all comes back to "it doesn’t matter what you use as long as you use it offer." So you keep applying a wax then it will keep that smaller scratch protected along with the rest of the car. Gary, Great results. As the guys have said make sure you always wax last. If you are using a sealant, you would want to apply that first and then apply the wax over the top of that once it cures. Also dont feel the need to compound or polish your car every weekend. You should only need to do it once and then maintain it with wax and sealants. If you keep cutting the paint with compounds and polish's you will run out of paint so just keep that in mind. I have also attached a video of Larry claying a car for you. Its very simple bit of lube and left to right motion and you are set. I use soap while doing my clay as its a much cheaper alternative than using a spray wax which is also just as good. depends how much of the car you need to clay.

Hey mate, Just reading through your post. Just thought I would try and shoot over some advice. What you are looking to do sounds like you have the right approach and your last post is the most important of all You want to go through the above process which GTR -34A has noted these steps are correct, but there are a few things to keep in mind. When you Polish or Compound your car you are cutting down the paint / clear which is on the car. You only need to do this is when you have scratches or swirl marks on the paint which need to be corrected. If your paint is in good condition then this step wouldn't be needed. This brings me to your last post. How often should you compound your car. As little as possible. If you are applying a Wax and ideally a Sealant Often then you shouldn't have a need to correct your paint. I personally use AMMO and find it to be fantastic. Also keep in mind that if you use Clay Bar on a car which has had a Wax and or Sealant Applied to the car then it will remove it as well as any other dirt which may have been sitting on top of it. Also if you are applying Wax and Sealant often then the need to Polish your car also shouldn't be needed either. This of course is perfect conditions but you can reduce then need with good care while washing the car too. I would suggest correct your paint and get it to an optimal condition and the protect it. Also don't forget to drive the car as well Let me know if you want me to go into any more detail about how to correct the paint or anything else. More than happy to answer any questions you have.

I would suggest www.waxit.com.au They have a great product range and highly recommend their service You don't want to get a poor quality towel or you will find that it may scratch and they will "fill up" too quick. Cheers, Matt
