  1. Coil-packs die for no reason, not crack related but batch related. Gearbox solenoids can go on the autos with series 1's Rust around the rear centre brake light AAC valve can block and cause high revving Interior is covered with crappy paint on the series 1's and is prone to marking and scratching off in our climate, series 2's just have black plastic. I've seen very few with CAS and AFM problems, but it occurs
  2. The ECU in the R34's up the boost when, quote, from the R34 manual "the engine is raced" The R33 had a pre-determined rev point where they changed, we don't have that.
  3. Never used Bosch, but these are one of the best options out there for R34's...we share injectors with the 350Z and V35's http://www.deatschwerks.com/nissan63.htm
  4. OK seeing as you've got error 26, 43 and had 16 I'd say it's the voltage feed to all three (they all share the same 5v from the ECU) Most likely it's on one of the sensor as they daisy-chain to each other, so if one is unplugged it can take the others out. Unplug and replug your TPS sensor, Turbo pressure sensor and secondary throttle sensor and see how it goes.
  5. Sounds like your coil packs to me as well. Stock boost the ECU is normally aiming at around 11:1 AFR with the boost turned up a bit, the cells in the ROM aim for around 9.8:1 AFR No way in hell would the car on it's own make 12.7:1 unless boost was up over a Bar..but by then you would have hit the max voltage on the AFM and the engine will cut-out
  6. Very normal, as John said the stereo makes the needle bounce with bass I also get it with the indicators when the stereo is using a fair bit of power
  7. I'd need to look at the circuit diagrams, but I'd say there is a good chance it could be wired into one.
  8. Yeah I had the same with my car, it was bizzare...the top-end was impressive
  9. Currently offering free install in Brisbane if anyone arranges pick-up
  10. lol Alex flamin mongrelovksi again! And that's just bullshit, my last R34 had wicked ghetto PVC and made it identifiable when police recovered it lol
  11. Slide highflow will be great! Will spool nicely on the high-comp
  12. Take all the surround bollocks off from around the back of the A/C, when you press the button to change vents you will see the servo move which controls it. See if the pin holding it to the vent arm is broken or has popped out, happens a fair bit on 32's especially for the vent that controls the hot air from the heater box.
  13. Hey mate, I see you around a bit, you live in/vist Calamvale?
  14. A facial reconstructive kickectomy?
  15. Kind of, it actually drops fuel from 3 cylinders as well as closing the second throttle, turns the car into a 3 cylinder for a second or so.
  16. I notice your light height adjuster has been flogged as well, damn compliance!!
  17. All I can say is.....Summafieldayz is a hottie-fest!!!!!!!!!!
  18. pretty sure it's the equivalent to the R32 GTS-t box
  19. Speed sensor on the gearbox may be dead?
  20. The 1J is apparently very easy to do in BMW's perFOURmance up in QLD do them a fair bit I've heard
  21. Haha you mean you heard a sigh of relief from the other boys, they fear the pwning of my car Look fingers crossed they give me credit for the course and I don't have to go, but 1 Saturday compared to 13 x 170kms worth of trips over 3 months = a saving of over $350 in fuel That'd cover the rest of some new injectors and would see me in the +250rwkw zone
  22. So what did your first dyno run on Matts net though? He wouldn't have started fiddling til he did a power run. Ie 238 on Brisbane Tunings = XXX on Matts dyno Allstar use a dynologic as well, that generally reads lower than the dynodynamics
  23. Matts dyno just reads low in comparison to most, his tuning would be spot on and that's what a dyno is used for. You wouldn't have gone backwards it's just dynos aint dynos Damo just cracked under 200 with his R34 highflow etc etc, which is realistic considering the other figures I've heard people get down at PITs Put both of you on a dyno elsewhere and you will both be over 220, that's why you need one of these bulk dyno days to compare all the members cars in one go.
  24. Similar, not exact. It didn't have the front end bollocks that one has.
  25. Officially count me out I've got a full-day lecture at Uni on the Saturday. If I don't go, it means I have to turn up to a lecture every week for 13 weeks, a condensed Saturday is way worth it.
