  1. $70 delivered to QLD for pod and bracket?
  2. Hey Oz, long time no see
  3. Hollllla!
  4. 13psi in a 10:1 is asking for trouble that would have contributed to the death of that engine...I owned a blue-top as well and managed to melt the piston without a turbo. under 8psi with stock pistons will see a reliable engine that won't need forgies and will live a long prosperous life.
  5. Yeah it's easier to put a 'T' piece at the oil pressure sensor, works well enough and that's what GReddy do with all their bolt-on kits.
  6. I'm running the dash ones on a dimmer, of course they're dimmer. If I had them full pelt I'd be blinded You can run the 2 LED's on the limit by only using a 400ohm resistor with them (too bright at 13000mcd) then use the dash dimmer to reduce intensity (if you've got one fitted) Running 2 LED's in parallel with a 1Kohm resistor you get a fairly good brightness, you can definately make out all the relevant info. Also a thing to note with the A/C, the bulbs for the LCD screen are actually 5v while the buttons are 12v still run the 1Kohm resistor with them though, as the screen is more transparent and lets more light through...it works out pretty even colour distribution.
  7. Red will illuminate the needles just fine, I had red ones in my corolla, looked evil as it was blood red They'd be just as easy to do, as someone mentioned LED selection can be critical. My ones were supre brights, so mounting them with the focus to the back of the borad was fine as there was soo much dispersed light that it illuminates the whole dash without light/dark spots. You can get wide angle LEDs and bit of hot-melt glue on the superbrights can diffuse the beam quite well also.
  8. Dude, your lights were blown, they look painted but aren't
  9. Yeah that's why you have to face them downwards or to the rear like I did, the cold spots aren't preceivable with the naked eye, the camera can pick them up though. With the triple gauge you have to aim the LED to the centre of the needle. I bought 13000mcd LEDs, they're bright enough
  10. Just to stir all the people who I told my latest mod plan to....but seriosuly they look good Pictures don't do them justice.
  11. try FAG bearings....no I'm not taking the piss
  12. What was 3K for? A SS system with HPC I was quoted much less than that, then I decided to get mild from the dump to the muffler to cut drone and got it for $1900 including HPC split dump.
  13. http://www.deatschwerks.com/nissan61.htm Do the cash back option with your 370cc ones and these are a steal! http://deatschwerks.com/forms/core_return_form.pdf
  14. Not really, my car ran fine for a over 50,000kms and as far as I know is still running fine without ever being cracked open to change pistons. Melting pistons is from a poor tune, you can do it with any engine
  15. It's OK, I can make the 24th....all of those people that just wanted to come along and see me can now go with the security of knowing I will make an appearance. Signed photos will be available, I'll also be autographing my latest book. Thanks fans! <3

hahahaha whoever goes in the group buy I'll never speak to again! It's cheaper to get your bar resprayed and you won't look like a pillow-biter!
  20. I always found the TCS a bit of a "too little, too late" especially in the wet. When you get used to your car, give me a buzz when you find the TCS 'limiting'
  21. highest offer you say.....$1 (yes I'm deadly serious) Also buy one of my TCS circuits, you'll love it
  22. You're joking! Lint is damn hard to find coming up to Christmas and NYE, your dealer is plain crazy...find someone else I think you're being taken for a ride.
  23. I took cash for my R34, it helps lubricate a sale People let things go cheaper as they sometimes get a bit overwhelmed by visually seeing the money, when it's abank cheque or something you can't quantify it as well, you don't assoicate the value as much.
  24. I wish I had pics of the time my last R34 looked like a rally car. It had mud and grass from bottom to roof. Good chunks of mud as well, grass was between the tyres and the rims on all 4 corners and turf between the exhaust and bumper. Did a 360 off the road skidded across a field and landed down the side of creek in dense grass (hence only $1500 damage) When I got to work people didn't even recognise my car
