Yeah when I bought it back in early 2002 it had full log-books and 47,000kms and no turbo. thing really do improve with age

Just after the sensor for the stock boost gauge out of an R34 or R33, sits behind the driver side strut tower near the firewall. If you've got an aftermarket boost gauge you won't be using it

Alex, you never forget your first skyline, especially when it's an N/A + t with R33 crossover pipe back to front and a special metallic blue on the I/C pipes that I made at work. Plus the engine and VIN numbers, and you can see the mod plate on the passenger strut brace.

I'd say he doesn't know...the last dodgy owner that was on SAU trying to flog it had a MOTEC put in, plus he doesn't list the other mods. I'm trying to get in touch with the guy.

Yeah was stolen June last year, apparently passed through about 4 sets of hands after the insurance company sold it off. I'm guessing a few people thought it was a GTT because I put the gauges and stuff in. But lets face it, it's a high-comp turbo engine with about 160K on the clock. I'd say it'd be a bit tired by now.

Minor things like interior trim and LED colour behind the instruments, black instead of silver steering wheel paddles etc etc. All the differences are much of a muchness really. Just that you may feel more comfortable knowing you've got a newer model. No performance difference at all.

It needs some trimming, you may find the SRS impact sensor needs to be relocated about 5cm lower and mounted below the fan. Also I have seen 2 types of fan, one that is flush and mounted integral into the shroud, the other has a big motor sticking right out of it. Mounted well you can avoid cutting the support and have at least 2mm clearance from the fan and I/C core

Look at your connections on the TCS motor (second throttle) body to see if the plugs are nice and firm/clean.

I'd say the claim is correct, my friend and I both have the full CES system. He had the advantage of running his on a dyno before and after with just the exhaust and no other mods. It went from 139rwkw to 176rwkw on an auto R34 GTT Have a run down to the CES workshop and tell me if you think it looks "just like any other exhaust shop" they put a 1000 times more effort into designing sytems and making them actually sound tough, not just the average sound you get from a Jap brand.

So no good for a highflow then, makes it a fairly restrictive upgrade.
