  1. yeah the signal from the ECU is still the same, as mentioned grab a SII loom and just use that (hence bypassing the ignitor)

  4. Why is the pipe on the turbine side so small and extended right into the turbo?
  5. I've got a CES combo, stainless split dump HPC coated. Mild steel through to the stainless muffler. Gives and extremely good tough note, sits under legal dB range. Best money I've ever spent. Previous cars I've gone the budget routes and ended up with either droney or power-robbing results...the guys at CES seriously know their shit and you'll leave 100% happy.
  6. Yeah talk to slide, this would be the first of around 500 turbo's that has gone wrong (if it even has) My one has been going strong for over 8000kms now. Also Aaron was awesome to deal with, I had my turbo in 3 days...but that was before everyone jumped on the bandwagon and took the whole supply in the country
  7. That would only be common sense seeing as they would have flow tested and matched the set, throwing them in with factory ones would defeat the purpose of going to the trouble.
  8. Yeah if it's one of Slides it'll be fine after about 1000km of driving once the bearing has been broken in. My one was the same, massive lag, then bang to redline. After 2 weeks it had loosened up nicely Don't get the car tuned until it's done this, or you'll just be wasting time and money.

I disagree, a few places actually highflow injectors correctly and pay attention to multi-port spray patterns, AVO, APS, deatschwerks etc. They work out to be a good option for people with R34's that can't get access to a range of injector sizes.   11. I have heard that, but if he's been knowingly told to stop pressing on with these random fines due to his lack of knowledge, then it's in his lap. QLD police have made their position clear to him, so then it's down to abusing his power and knowingly depriving someone of money. QLD police aren't in a position to know if he's still doing it as most people cop the fine, have a whinge and don't take it further. If he's acting unlawfully then QLD police won't have a bar of it when it comes down to recouping money, they'll actually advise you to take it to small claims. Unfortunately they can't be fully responsible for the actions of their employees, much like health and safety is down to the individual. Companies aren't liable for unsafe acts of their employess.
  12. Don't forget to attend to the cost of going to QLD transport. Make sure you go through small-claims and take it out of his pocket and not through QLD Police. It makes people responsible for their actions if a bad call costs them money.

  14. You're better off getting a proper ECU solution, the stock ECU drops timing between 10-15 degrees once it detects boost creeping over 12psi.
  15. Maybe it is the fuel pump, when you turn the ignition to 'on' you normally can't hear a stocker. Your one may have been noisy indicating it's on the way out and finally died?

  24. R34 suspension is fairly similar to R33 GTR setup Exhaust from one can fit the other with minor mods ECU is completely different
