  1. Luckily I worked 500m from the assessors, they got to see me everyday as my patience wore thin
  2. Bourbon is my other favourite dark spirit
  3. Hmm I used to always stock up from ebay....never found them off the shelf, either that or most tuning shops seem to have them on hand
  4. An R33 one will also suit, you just need to change the plug over. May be quicker to get one of those.
  5. Sorry should have been more clear...was there the other week This was at the Remy tour with the food and cognac tasting at the end...yum! The other photo is half of the prolific range they had in our hotel, the other cabinet housed 50+ bottle of the $2000+ bottles Uploaded with ImageShack.com Uploaded with ImageShack.com
  6. That 'logic' applies to any lower spec model car, I see an CLK AMG 63 and think "get a Black edition you pov"
  7. My alcoholic dream holiday destination, Otard, Hennessy and Fransac all in a row, Martell down the road and Remy over the back a bit...bliss!
  8. ......on a Lambo
  9. Exactly, about neck and neck with a Commodore
  10. The 25GT was my first Skyline I owned, felt a very solid and well built car compared to most other vehicles in the same bracket, road feel shames the S15's, Integra's etc etc. It's by no means a speed machine, but that's the point. A great tourer.
  11. Lens request sent, I'll see if it is possible. I'd say they'll need both a complete L + R headlight to make sure all the clips etc etc are still functional with the glass replacement, yet retain the desired strength. It'll be lab-grade Borosilicate, so nice and strong
  12. Apparently I was "high risk" due to having a Chemistry and Pharmacy Degree and was ordering large quantities of lab equipment.....c'mon guys would I make it *that* obvious if I was up to no good? "Hey look at me!!!" No idea with the lens cost, I'd need some dimensions etc etc to get an accurate idea, I'd say they will want one to play with and mould also as it's too hard from a drawing to get it right.
  13. They can make anything glass, I've had a lot of custom order stuff, things you would think impossible from glass and they've made them.....basically I send a technical drawing, or better still the actual item and it can be cloned, or made better depending on what you want. Would be nice to order something that didn't involve visits from the State Drug Enforcement guys, they thought they were onto something hot, until they realised it WAS an actual business.
  14. For the Labware? Yes, I'm their Australasian distributor
  15. In for the a.m.
  16. 1000% NOT a Skyline
  17. I've heard if you look into the mirror and chant "Charlie, Charlie, Charlie" he will appear in Whoretown!?!?!?!?! We can't all be LS1 haters, I will be putting an LS(insert number here) into a car in the not too distant Future but I've got a bit of a timeline and process to go through before it hits the streets....28 months and counting.
  18. LOL just a lot of us are in the 10+ years of SAU membership, I've been pretty scarce since I moved on from the LED business, that was the only thing keeping me here as I said good bye to the R34 about 3 years ago
  19. *I* know you....
  20. Go the Ruddinator!
  21. Busy, been at Dulux for 3 months now.....showing them how it's 'meant' to be done
  22. An enigma wrapped in a riddle
  23. Yep same turbo, I had a look after it came off the car. It was a really easy repair, bearing pack was still rock solid and no play, just some impeller nicks on the outer tips. Just sounded worse than it was as the nut was really tiny and getting recirculated like being in a food processor. If it had blown through to the I/C I would probably still have the car as basically I wouldn't have heard it.
  24. Yes, grinders are great at cutting things, principle design function if I'm not mistaken, I'm fairly sure an airsaw won't just bounce off flesh if you get in the way........they just stop quicker, but can still give a decent hack. Plus the thing is physically awkward to use in the confined space. People need to take some responsibility for their actions, I suggested what worked perfectly fine for me as I'm not a complete retard and treat tools with respect, and if I've not used one before I'd get someone who is skilled at using it to do the job. Hence why if someone posted "the best way to do the job is on a lathe" I wouldn't be running out to give it a crack, as I have NFI how to use one and would end up getting clocked by a solid piece of metal. Personally I'd be more concerned about him using a stanley knife to cut the soft foam, they don't know when to stop and so many people have bad technique it's not funny. I gave him the easy rat and peanut butter option....
