  1. If you're looking at any sort of tuning with the factory ROM all I can say is Matty Spy or Sam (Dr Drift)
  2. he's alive...gave me a wave the other day on the M1...took me while to figure who the hell it was from the number plates so didn't wave back *sorry*
  3. ur dust isn't a GTR...not even a quick GTST
  4. Also cluttering my garage, buyers?
  5. OK I've moved house and it's now cluttering my new garage! Any buyers?
  6. Call Motorman imports at springwood and ask for Paul…he may be able to help you out, I know he’s got a series 2 R34 that he *may* be interested in swapping seats. Remember to say you're from SAU
  7. Good to see you enjoyed yourself...shame we couldn't catch up with you there again Had an awesome time last year But you'll be in Brissy soon enough!
  8. Guys as mentioned before the other option is now the bikirom megaboard, I've got one fitted to my current auto R34. www.bikirom.com Should be good for stageas as well. Great news Chris...I could tell from you e-mails you were starting to get stressed, which is understandable. At least it looks fairly promising now!
  9. As far as I know that's the same (they're high impedance)..but yeah a quick check would be welcome

Good stuff Sam...PM me the date you'll roughly be here..maybe we can nut this out on a Dyno and get a somewhat professional opinion of it?
  11. Well all I can say is I never had any issue with regards to the ignition coils frying *after* the e-manage was on, all my coils died with just the factory ECU The e-manage was on the car for 18 months and worked a treat. I have actually seen the trigger signal on a CRO and that's why we used the zener path as we could mimick it with no problems...no impedance issues were evident at the time, and this was quiet obvious in the performace of the car, no breakdown, no stuttering..basically perfect operation. I agree, when you know what fixes it let us know Also for anyone that doesn't know, the bikirom megaboard now works in the R34's (I have one installed now ) www.bikirom.com
  12. Has anyone here got access to some XR6 Turbo injectors, looking at pictures of them they look very similar in dimension to the R34 top-feed items, just in need of a different harness plug. As far as I can see physically the front end of the body is identical. At $430 a set of 6 (rated at 430cc) from a guy on Ford XR6 forums they look a pretty attractive option for some of the R34 people chasing a few extra KW but on the duty limit of the factory items. So anyone got one the can measure/send me so I can compare???
  13. Sounds frustrating...it seems as though there may be a few things at play here, the R34 coil packs can play up and when they do it's not pretty. The other thing is there may be something extremely simple wrong with the e-manage install, doesn't take much to cause chaos. SK the diode trick does work to control the firing voltage, the zeners only allow an overflow voltage of around 1.7v which is more in-line with the factory firing-signal voltage. The RX-8 suffers from an identical problem when using the e-manage. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...hl=e-manage+R34 This thread Show's the setup from my old N/A + turbo R34...he picked it up somewhere after my car was written-off and has it for sale. You may be able to see the red wire has a funny shaped bit of heatshrink...the zener is inside it.

Just an update, I've got the bikirom in the car now, only running the factory tune loaded on the ROM at the moment, but it is running fine. Just got to find time to get to a dyno
  15. haha how slow am I just saw this thread...thanks everyone, yeah it's all go at the moment with the house etc etc finally feel less stressed as it's all coming together. What can I say Andrew...I'd been holding out for 9 years and I think I was close to getting bashed
  16. Car looks good with the mesh Adam...very pro looking job I think you'll find all of the older autos are viscous even the coupes...the series 2 moved over to helical for both manual and auto. I can have hit and miss open wheeling with my diff, it's not even that thrashed yet BTW I've joined the dust collecting team as well, the ECU is in Perth being sorted, should be back in the car Saturday
  17. Damn missed the date on the auction...didn't see if it was or not??
