  1. That's what we came down to, a vacuum leak, may have just been coincidental that it occured when we were fitting the IC. We basically didn't disconnect anything but the IC + plumbing...will check out all the vacuum hose to see if anything got knocked.
  2. OK we put a front mount intercooler on the car, the only areas to be interfered with were the airbox, AFM and piping that had to be removed. After installation the car decided to idle at 1500rpm, it was showing no error codes on the ECU, adjustment of the idle control valve could only drop it down to 1200rpm. ECU reset didn't help either. Any ideas what could possibly be wrong?
  3. I fitted an R33 exhaust on my last R34...it actually went on with no dramas, even lined up at the cat....assuming the reverse would be OK As far as turbo-back goes, the dump on the R34 is steeper than an R33 so are not interchangable

    V35 Skyline

hahaha I know said sedan! There is a post dating back some time referring to it, and the odd noises and rattling it was making (pre engine blow I assume)

    V35 Skyline

meh...it's not the first one, that I know for sure I had a good nose in a V35 coupe a few months back, it was firmly nestled between 5 V35 sedans. The coupe is 1000 times better looking in the flesh, I agree the sedan is weak! It has quite a few more things going for it over the 350Z though...like extra seats. Once more of the turbo kits are developed I'd say they will be VERY popular.
  6. AFRO check your PM ***springs for sale***
  7. Ended up going for a set of Kings lowering springs for the car. The Sustecs weren't low enough on the rear
  8. OK finally sorted out my suspension dillema, so I've got the stock R34 springs for sale. They've done ~32,000kms Offers around $150, buyer pays postage Dan

    34 Daughterboards

I'm getting the biki megaboard soon...it's ordered and shouldn't be far away. Sam you're more than welcome to install and tune it if you pop up to QLD
  10. Bought these the other week just to try on my R34...unfortunately the GT-T doesn't have enough mass over the back axels for a consistant height drop. Front is perfect, the rear works out about 3cm too high. (sorry R34 guys, no good unless you like a drag-car look) Would suit having the rear springs changed for GT-T's They are Tanabe Sustecs (KYB) made for the R33 GTR pics and details can be located here http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...85977&hl=Tanabe This is the same set origianlly fitted to an R33 GTR before they were sold, only difference is they have been sand-blasted and resprayed 'police friendly' satin black. They would most likely suit a 4WD R34, stagea or anything else with a rear mass similar to a GTR. $275ono
