    Yeah my engine bay is the same colour, but not as noticable as the car is Dark Blue as well But it would be handy when it comes to respraying a different colour as you won't have to bother with the bay, and it would still look quite normal

    It's your canister purge control valve, best bet would to be to contact Nissan NZ...I personally find Nissan AU to be useless. It will probably still end up being ex Japan though. It looks repairable, if you don't want to though, try here [email protected]

    Running like a WRX is because of one of the coils packs not firing, it's the most frustrating sensation you can experience!!! I'm guessing Error 21 The coil packs in R34's are known for breaking if you look sideways at them

    Read the eleventybillion posts about this in the N/A section...I turbo'd my RB25DE it's been going strong for over 60,000Kms.

    I've used the e-manage for over 50,000kms now and not had any issues with the gearbox??? The box itself is now 160,000kms old and only show signs of slight slipping due to the power output.

    Funny you should mention the starvation, would have though that setup would be fine...even for a turbo??? No 1/4 mile times yet...even though the others guys are calling me weak for not taking it down to Willowbank We'll have to talk RB30's soon, I'm looking at building an RB30DET Neo, so you may be able to give me some guidance!

    Doesn't tell you if the engine has been swapped though....my VIN doesn't indicate that it's turbocharged

    Update: New 70mm exhaust made a massive difference, helped with flatspots in the power curve. High-flow cat and dump pipe still to come.....then one day I'll have a FINAL dyno result.

    If you have a careful look at this the RB25 doesn't have the Air Jet Swirl Valve actuator and solenoid found on the intake manifold runners...looks like the RB20 doesn't have a Auxilary Fan on the radiator either. And the car will be VERY sluggish to drive, much like an old corolla I've heard of a few of the RB20's knocking around down south, so it pays to check thoroughly.

    It'll fit an R33 if that's any help? The exhaust I threw on my R34 the other day was a cat-back off a 33, went on fine...as long as they're cat-back they fit

    r34_skyline - Just out of interest sake are you talking about an R34? As visually the RB20DE and RB25DE are very similar, I noticed you mentioned swapping plastic engine covers, which would only apply to R34's
