  1. I'm not sure on the other models, but with the R34's the automatic shift computer is a seperate item on the RB25DE equipped cars...the RB25DET and RB20DE have it integrated into the main ECU.
  2. Does the stall converter come with the trans, or are you willing to seperate?
  3. Pics? Cause this is one damn confusing post. I'm assuming you have a GTT dash...and the GTT centre insturment console ie boost, oil temp, battery? Is that correct?
  4. Yeah I prefer the blue, considering my car is blue as well it's looks good I used to get people staring at it funny though, cause I had blue badges, N/A exhaust, no gauges, yet they could hear the turbo ...the Big front mount gives it away now though.
  5. As far as quick shifting goes, there was a member on here called Dragon, who bought an upgrade chip which shortened the lag time between shits, not sure who made it though? Most of the guys with the autos can run the e-manage with no problems, my one has been serving me fine.
  6. If I was in Sydney I'd gladly let hime loose on my N/A bolted turbo jobbie for sure!!!!
  7. My old N/A exhaust is sitting at Muffler Pro, will bolt straight up if you're interested?
  8. I've got blue badges...but my car was sold by the Prince Nissan Dealership?????
  9. Don't say this to me though cause I'll just get confused and insist there is no decent pu55y here...especially for $170!

  11. Very informative! Try here mate http://shop.importdriver.com.au/store/prod...em158.inetstore
  12. Just from that info I know EXACTLY who did the conversion, contact the dealer and I'm sure they'll give you his details...he'll probably take a look for you to see if it's all OK.

  14. Also this is a rough way of working out what pressure you can shove in your newly boosted N/A. Going by this you can see 12psi in an RB25DET is ~ 9psi in an RB25DE, which is as far as I'd personally take my one for now, so seems quite accurate http://www.rbracing-rsr.com/compression.htm Note it's a very rough way as dynamic compression is probably a more useful indicator, and this can be changed with cams.
  15. Don, go here http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...newpost&t=63667 I'm assuming he means 0.7 bar...which I wouldn't call low boost for a 10:1 engine...the effective compression ratio would be pretty high.
  16. Update: Got a 70mm cat-back fitted, jebus the power increase!!!!
  17. Firstly..hoorah another one Secondly, just keep an eye on gatty's link, that'll be the best place to look. 0.7..that's a fair bit of boost for the high compression...I'm only on 0.4 hoping to go to 0.6
  18. We need more wreckers with R34 parts grrr!
  19. ECL, as far as I know the plug and play harness isn't available for GTS or GTT, just GTR...I think this may be related to the coil-pack frying issue. For some reason GReddy still haven't modded the harness with diodes or anything??? The software update also doesn't prevent damage while the car is running. May be due to the release of the series 2 E-mange, they can't be bothered sorting the bugs out of the old one?
  20. hmmm walbro pumps aren't too noisy, I can hear it when the stereo is off, but not during general driving really.
  21. Get an R34....in Japan the S15 was always a lesser-spec car than the skyline. Hence the cost of the S15 turbo being less than the 25GT N/A R34 when new. They're just overpriced here!!!
  22. looks like the tube that runs to the Climate Control, so it measures the inside temp of the car
  23. Never heard of this either????
  24. I'd stick with the smaller gap, no point changing and then finding you have issues
  25. You didn't stuff it into bread and swallow it did you Josh?
