  1. OK sorted! I think it's actually 17 people Josh...I'm sure you'll be OK for a place to sit...if not we'll get them to do food runs to your car LOL
  2. Sounds like the 20GT....very dodge and came with an N/A RB20, that would be slowwww! But an excellent base for the RB26
  3. Depends what you're getting done, I've heard Motorcafe are teh e-manage gurus...so may have a chat to them when my exhaust is done.
  4. Now he knows how I feel on Beaudesert Road, hemmed in by elderly drivers and 'the slow'
  5. They can't tell you to go and get emissions tested because of a blackened exhaust...ALL cars have black on the inside of the exhaust??? As far as I know the only department even able to comment on emmisions in QLD are the Transport Department...and they will test on the spot at 4,000 rpm...with no load though you should be running fairly lean. If they were really interested in emmisions they'd pull over every other car in the Logan district. Ring a Department of Transport testing centre, they'll probably dismiss it, as it wan't an authorised officer that issued the ticket, and the fact they didn't see smoke and just inferred that it *probably* is running rich. The general police can't comment on anything that is beyond their professional knowledge, that includes emmsions and quite a few other things...that's why the Transport Department exist, they know the rules backwards, but you don't see them arresting people...it's not *their* job
  6. DanielWilliam: The car currently pulls harder than a stock GTS..this is with the crappy N/A exhaust still in place and running 6.5psi that is probably down to the higher compression I've had the turbo on my car for about 50,000Ks now and nothing has been damaged in that time, from a reliability point of view I think that's great. If the tune is good, you should have no problems...just don't expect to be able to cram 14psi in and you'll be fine.
  7. GTRman1992: Thanks champ, I was still waiting for comfirmations over the weekend and I didn't think they'd be that busy...oops I'll get in contact with you today to confirm! Just a reminder 7:00 guys
  8. Yeah no drinks with the cost but they are BYO...pretty certain it says it on the website (see first post)
  9. Mappage! Old Cleveland Rd is quite visible in this one...if you can find Old Clevo, then you've got a chance of turning up OK Closer, closer, closer....
  10. Yeah sounded pretty tough that time you were next to me on the Ippy Mtwy, plus the scope to turbo or supercharge that thing is just too tempting
  11. Good stuff John...the V8 was way cooler, lets face it!
  12. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...4530402580&rd=1 Throw an RB26DETT in and you've got cheap stylish weapon!
  13. Tripped over these today and remembered they exist still *sigh*
  14. And it's billion sensors LOL Paully was just saying about the RB25DE Neo as that was what I turbo-charged. Leigh your best bet may actually be to ditch the R34 ECU and do as I mentioned up a few threads, connect an R33 PFC to the existing harness and just splice the basic sensors for running the engine. This gets rid of the issues you'll face with the R34 ECU wanting inputs from the turbo pressure sensor, traction control, and a few of the other features that the R33 doesn't have. All of these missing items result in the check engine light coming on, and extremely reduced performance from the engine. my 50 cents after a years full-on experience with R34 electronics
  15. Hmm can we invite him to the italian eat off...would make excellent converstion at the table
  16. paully_tee: Nah it does go fairly well...that's my beautiful engine there OK the engine will be an easy swap, the RB25DE NEO will drop straight in. As for ECU side of things I'd recommend using a PFC for an R33...and just splice the wires on the R33 harness to the R34 sensors...retain the R33 ignition setup. The R34 DE ECU = crap Bolt on turbo, manifold, I/C etc etc and you'll have it done for less than 5K easy I've got the wiring diagrams for both R33 and R34 so that may help you if you decide to go with it.
  17. That's just a stupid idea!!!! It'd look like this piece of crap and probably pull just as hard on low boost
  18. Based on the 330' times I'd say you would have got a 12.88 easy. That's great going!
  19. I don't know about the pump...my one didn't have the balls to keep up with the boost...maybe the R34 one is dodge?
  20. I'm not a fan of the rear bar though, with that big wedge that say skyline on it!
  21. Realistically...the extra cost of putting the NEO in an R33 isn't really worth it..just put in an RB25DET from an R33 and you'll save thousands which could go towards a bigger turbo etc etc which will put you way ahead in power stakes than the mroe expensive NEO
  22. http://www.option1garage.com.au/xxgears.htm $660 R34 GTR Rear LSD Centre
  23. Drive a festiva for a week, then get back into your car...easy fix!
  24. The whole harness will need to be rewired...the ECU's are way different with the R34 being a fussy bastard with respect to having EVERY sensor working correctly. As long as you've got the manual to work from, it should be easy enough.
  25. Parents keep seeing RAW34...anyone here?
