  1. I like the way they still managed to throw a Skyline in the story even though one wasn't involved in this incident!!!
  2. You'll need bigger injectors for sure. As for the timing, it's best to get some proper timing control. The RB25DE seems to spool the turbo a lot quicker than the DET so areas of the factory tune have timing too far advanced in the 1800-2500 rpm range. The problem is if you pull timing over the whole range the car bogs badly off the line and has a few 'holes' in the most of the range, but hammers from 4500-redline. Something to consider.

    His whole 8 posts ever you mean...and half of them describe how he's lost a total of $60K by giving someone $30K...which they ran off with...then the other "workshop" stripped his whole car of $30K's worth of gear? As if you'd even admit to such stupid shite...if it actually ever happened.

  14. Yeah some stupid comments in that thread...like why all the skyline crashes...because they're the only ones that make the news, or are the only ones people talk crap about. If every commodore stack was made public the news would run for hours in the afternoon.

I think a blown hose too....I had the same thing happen under WOT, the noise actually made me jump as it was quite loud and sounded like some sort of cool weapon It brought my car to an abrupt stop as it stalled...it was a confusing few seconds as I didn't know what the hell was going on...loud noises, heavy steering etc etc. Check to see if it's actually a tear in the side of a hose maybe....

You'll find some people a bit funny about buying a 100K+ motor...but then again they're tools I think for the engine + G'box, loom, ECU you should get $3500 for it easy...much more than that you could find yourself not selling it as quickly as you may like. There have been a few good low k half-cuts for no more than $6K...$4K for auto

I'll say one thing though, if you're using the e-mail facility on e-bay...it's 100% dodge, I never receive confirmations etc etc and always have to include an instruction for the sellers to contact another e-mail addy, it's that bad. As for Australia post losing things...don't get me started on that issue. The most recent thing has been with our mail being redirected to a PO box...now anyone sending stuff to our home addy gets it returned to sender, even though it's a valid address. I've got things being sent by friends and it's taking months for it to arrive, so I know some of you guys would be getting edgy about strangers sending stuff, but just remember Aus Post is useless at the best of times.
  20. The E-manage hmmmmm Well I think it's a very sound unit...provided you actually get the boost sensor harness too. I've seen an N/A Supra converted to turbo without much trouble using the e-manage + ignition/injector/boost harness...without the boost harness to indicate exact engine load...the tune ends up being a bit rich and too much timing pulled. You may find that switching your ECU to the turbo unit...in combination with the SAFC may be all you need.
  21. $28K would be reasonable...considering R33 GTS-s are a few thousand cheaper than a GTS-t...why would R34's be any different? A decent GTt would be $33K+ so $28K makes sense.
  22. Was going to say...push for agreed value with Just car, but seeing as you've got $28K that's fairly reasonable. My one was 33K on-road over 2 years ago though.
