  1. People who fail to indicate need to be shot! You just have no idea what the crazy pricks are up to???? I saw a guy yesterday who was driving in between parked cars on the side of the road and would swing out everytime he came to a car! No indication just trying to broadside people actually driving where they should be. He then did the old chesnut of slowing to a halt, just sitting there mid road not indicating where the hell he was going and pulled a u-turn nearly collecting oncoming taffic...lock these tossers up please!
  2. Yeah didn't think they had the point-to-point cameras up here, just the safe-t-cam things over the border for truck drivers. That's why whenever they pull you over they ask "why were you speeding?" in the hope you'll give a lame excuse, which in turn admits guilt...."I wasn't" is a lot simpler to say
  3. where is it?
  4. Saw 61RLY parked at Sunnybank shops last Friday lunchtime...and I've seen the Yellow R34 at loganholme too.
  5. Not trying to sound patronising, but does it show 0.673 in the correction factor...ie you've got the injector sizes the correct way around. Also make sure you upload the file, or it won't take effect. I upgraded injector sizes and it worked fine...before the factor went in I had black smoke too...it's the only thing it can be?
  6. haha photo continental is where I had an old tiger mica undercover commodore keep trying to go me at the lights, kept gunning it and dropping back again hoping I'd take the bait...knob!!!
  7. Pentae, that pic is still cracking me up!!!! hahahaha
  8. You want louder, get a Kakimoto Hyper2000 N1

    AJM Motorsport

And you can live with yourself knowing this fact and doing nothing about it?
  10. Definately a worry...generally the temp should sit so you can just see the little screw above the needle. Only once has my engine temp ever got to the top of the gauge, that was due to stop start traffic for 30 mins...with a road temp of around 55C Seeing that both fulids are heating up may be related to 2 things...either a bearing is starting to go...more friction heating the oil up. Or the fact the coolant system isn't working to capacity, the heat from the oil isn't leaving the engine as quickly. Sounds like it may actually be as simple as the thermostat though...similar symptoms to my old corolla.
  11. I was waiting when this post would surface Can't wait to see the results, then hopefully run down to Jaycar, money in hand!
  12. Did you get some info as well Erin?
  13. PM Skyline_geoff he's the man in the know
  14. Yeah RB30 bottom end is really the way to go, something I should have done...and maybe will do though.
  15. Hmm not sure about the coupe...I've still seen them for $30K...one guy on here has still got his for sale for about $27K think? Found the link R34
  16. I never thought the RB25DE would be enough power Just when I bought my car a long time ago, the price of a GT-t was still in the $60K+ bracket so the 25GT was the only option for me to have an R34. They deliver around 147Kw, so not what I'd class as amazing, that's why I put the turbo on my one.
  17. Just remembered, Just Jap are rwecking an R34 coupe.
  18. Looking at the wiring for the R33...the only thing I can think you may need to rewire is if you put the factory boost solenoid in. But if you don't bother just use a boost controller. The R33 wiring is 1000 times more forgiving than in the R34.
  19. I really should take some pics of under the engine bay, basically the oil feed comes from where the filter goes, the return is via the block near the sump. The water lines are fed via the heater hose system for the climate control. I'll g some photo's up
  20. The stock one is annoyingly loud enough when you've got a pod filter

    Optimax Fuel

Hard to remember a time where I was unlucky enough to find a servo that had run out? Even out where I live Optimax has always been on tap when I've gone to fill up.
  22. head gasket isn't essential, and just adds $1000 to process, unless you're chasing boost over 9psi don't worry about it. You'll find the low-end torque from the high compression to be rewarding enough
  23. Halfcut would probably be the best option unless you can get the turbo and other bolt-on bits relatively cheap. bits would included Turbo Exhaust manifold Dump-pipe & Front pipe Injectors (stock GTS-t ones or better) Intercooler and piping (stock or better) ECU (R33 gtst one may work fine) Fuel Pump I think that's the minimum you need to get it going
  24. poptart on holidays...I don't think he could possibly take time off!
  25. Just for referrence GT-t injectors are around 14.2 Ohms
