  1. Thanks riceline, may have a yarn to the guys down there then....something *cheaper* like the RB30DET may keep me happy for a bit before I move onto another car Also what turbo are you using on that...is it still the stock one?
  2. I would have thought the manual box would be more likely to die with the GTR engine in front of it...at least with the auto you can't dump the clutch...unless you do something silly like whack it from N to D!!!
  3. It's harder to burn 12 points now though...it's a lot easier to lose your licence for 6 months just for overtaking
  4. yeah those R33 coil packs just don't sit right.....but from what I've experienced are more reliable than the R34 ones!!! Give me a PM when you've got an idea of price for the stagea ECU (mailbox is clear now)

  7. It's just the the location of where the AFM attaches that's different...the turbo one has the outlet lower, the snorkel and top section should be the same

  10. Option F) sounds sweet....but I'd have to start with a GT Four, otherwise the 4WD conversion would get expensive. Maybe some sort of 4WD RB30 massive turbo combo???? That could probably be done with a lot less wallet abuse than the other combinations...hmmm I think now I'm on a house buying mission the 350Z will have to sit in my dreams for a bit longer...especially seeing as traction is not it's strong point.

  12. Haha I got hassled coming out of Coffs a couple of years back....30 mins of arguing the legality of things I pointed out that I lived in QLD and had a stock car...and I mean STOCK. Was let go with a warning of "be more careful next time" WTF?
  13. You could have all of that and more...it only takes a few seconds to have your car ****ed with, no alarm I know of can defend against a molotov c0cktail or a paving slab. Better still get a mongoose immobiliser...even if you've got the button *IT* decides when you can or can't start your car grrr!
  14. Yeah most debt collectors etc are free for the first phonecall, letter etc etc...you only get charged if it makes it to court, which if they're smart won't let it get that far. It's also great for companies that fail to pay, cause once you 've got a court appointment against your name, it becomes publically listed and goes against the company...that's why for some reason they never let it get that far

  17. A couple of things....not ballistically fast enough, the colour...and to a lesser extent wouldn't mind 4WD.

Many of you know the story of my car: Currently it’s an R34 25GT with a bolt-on turbo, bigger injectors, fuel pump and aftermarket ECU….with respect to the future, should I A) Revert it back to N/A and sell it like that (would only take a day to do)? Then goto option D) or E) B) Sell it as is with all the bits on? Then goto option D) or E) C) Put in an RB30DET and keep it? D) Get a 350Z and put turbo’s on that? E) Get an R34 25GT Four and put a Stagea Engine and gearbox in and have a cheaper “GTR-esque” car? Option D) would have to be a fair bit further into the future though...that's not cheap

Sorry couldn't help myself Seriously though, you'd probably be better getting in contact with a parts supplier here...seeing as dealing directly with Japan you have an obvious language barrier with most places (damn us ignorant anglos) Most of the suppliers here have all there contacts sorted in Japan and would probably be more than happy to have sotck waiting over there directed to you in Canada instead of Australia.   24. Yeah it's just the 32 that's different..I'm using R33 pipework with a 34 cooler in my car.
