  1. Damn doesn't give any dyno figures! Wonder if the power increase is anything like putting on a GTR badge

    Quote's??

    See below
  3. Yep I've got a set of 6 RB25DE NEO injectors...they're ~270cc
  4. Go check out some threads by Mines Datsun, that's should convince you not to have your Dad buy you turbocharged cars!!!
  5. Yeah an R34 will end you up in all sorts of trouble...I managed that with an N/A R34...but have become a bit more sedate with the turbo now Insurance for you will be insanely expensive...as for you Dads comments on Just Cars, they are about the only insurance company that'll cover you for an agreed value AND most importantly NOT try to screw you over in a claim...providing you're truthful with all you details + mods, they will back you the whole way. I've had nothing but excellent dealings with them.
  6. Actually ignore that comment, I've got v-high compression as well.
  7. I would honestly have thought the bad idle was a function of the idle duty cycle...as when warm I'm sitting on 5 degrees advance with no issues.
  8. neoGT-25 has an R34 N/A for sale, this may fall into your price range....give him a pm and see if you can work a deal with him.
  9. Never saw this last post Yep you're right the 28th has been and gone...and the verdict was....some major boost retarding going on Basically too much timing being pulled by the ECU. I managed to hook up some timing control, but am in the process of getting it tuned to counter the N/A tune on the factory ECU. Seems to be the timing around 2700rpm which is causing the issue. You can drive around fairly sedately without it dropping the timing...open the throttle to above 85% and a ping at about 2700 will drop power badly. Ideally it would be nice to have a GT-t ECU to adjust with the e-manage, as the factory tune would be a lot more forgiving to begin with Pre-turbo the power would seem like it was taking forever to move the car from 0-3000rpm...then it'd get going a bit. With the turbo on the torque seems to have jumped up a fair bit, the car is much more tractive in any gear. From 5000rpm to redline, it lets rip! Also thanks to another post, here are the cam and lifter specs for most Nissan engines...note that the R33 skyline cams are the same DE & DET...and the R34 has solid lifters. http://www.tomei-p.co.jp/_2003web-catalogu...haft-specs.html With respect to the amount of boost being run...it's basically as much as you can run before it pings...if possible with a decent tune you could run 12psi...but it's just *can* it physically be tuned at this level without detonation.
  10. Hahaha that's the funniest thing I've heard all day!!! Sounds like something out of Bad Boys..."don't be alarmed, we're Negro" Welcome to the gang champ
  11. They've even got a retrofitted Turbo Supra SZ....someone in Japan was nutty and turbo'd an N/A too
  12. Adrian - you're a machine
  13. Are they willing to refund if it doesn't?

    R34 Gt-t

you'd be better off just buying a 25GT, taking the engine and gearbox out.
  15. Sweet that's what I want....a daughter board!!!! Do the have one that's plug and play...just looks like it's missing a few components in that picture...if it's just a matter of soldering it in, I'm not phased by electronics.
  16. My one is silver....well was before I took it off
  17. That guy is after an R34 GTR too! What a coincidence Seriously you've got to be waaaaaay stupid to advertise someone elses car!!!
  18. dog-box
  19. Doesn't matter my one just nearly joined your car in R34 heaven! Some woman on a roundabout thought she'd turn right from the left lane while I was next to her! Lucky it's a nice dry day, or she'd have had a new R34 shaped suicide door on her Tarago.
  20. Was a sad loss Yotis, but as I hinted before, you could have at least tucked the engine under your arm when you left the scene...I would have given you at least $10 for it
  21. I just used rubber washers
  22. If you guys are going to all that trouble...wouldn't it be easier to replace the chip in the factory ECU and write a program to frig with that?
  23. It's $137 delivered to your door...speaking of doors, time I ran out of this one Catch you guys later, gotta blitz down to the coast for a bit. Cya
  24. Adrian, I've been sent some data scans by the guy that developed the software...and it looks brilliant...every facet of the ECU can be looked at...all sensor outputs can be seen. Also has a few super-secret tricks they use at dealerships....with rumoured possibility of remapping the factory ECU (with slight modding) This thing could be dangerous. Mwahahahaha...imagine eliminating the need for a power FC!!!!
  25. BTW I should have my Nissan con5lut™ interface by Tuesday! linkage - http://www.plmsdevelopments.com/consult_if.htm
