  1. Viscount: I'm running about 7-8psi...no boost gauge at the moment...just going by the standard pressure allowed by the factory solenoid. Compression is 10:1. I wouldn't go replacing the head...as the NEO one is the decent, better designed flowing head...unless you buy a NEO turbo head that is. If you're worried about compression just get aftermarket forgies and bring it down to 9:1 if you like....personally I'm happy with my car spooling up at low RPM though

I'd say it the head design influencing the compression...as with the RB20DE Neo it's called a lean burn head, just an assumption there Specs for most of the parts would be available in the Nissan parts CD...which has been mentioned for sale but no-one followed through on it. There has been some info floating around, the NEOs are meant to have solid lifters...unlike the previous counterparts and actually have oil squirters in ALL models. I've been running the turbo on my engine now for 20,000k's with no related problems (the coil packs were just shite!) My engine has now done a total of 130,000ks and I'm confident of it making 200,000...we'll see cause I'm keeping her until she rusts away...or the trade-in price on a 350Z isn't too bad I'm very keen to get to a dyno if anyone knows of any dyno days in the near future

    Anyone got 2 loaner wheels? The car is officially working...but the tyres aren't Traction looks to be a problem at the moment

  13. Hmmm got a magazine at home with a guy running LPG in his RB20DET....it is well suited to boost...was putting out some decent power. I'll try and find it.

Joel that's pretty shit-house...I'd go straight back down there and demand a refund....I had a problem similar to that with my car...except I had some really good fingerprints on the basecoat...which appeared like holograms in the light! also had the same thing where the mirrors were left on when the door was sprayed, all the paint ended up delaminating underneath where it wasn't applied properly. They also left the windows in resulting in a shitty spray!

  20. Series II got a silver and black steering wheel....looks a bit faggy, also got velour seats instead of cross-weave nylon...also different front bar...apart from that nothing of note really.

  23. CWest....your insurance seems high for Just Cars...I'm with them paying a LOT less than that for my car + turbo + computer + stereo etc etc and the same agreed value as you and I'm 24
