  13. Ahh the good old warranty repair return…that’s the best one to use..you can’t dispute it…especially when the supplier is good enough to include a service report BTW I’d be questioning $125 payable on something that didn’t cost $500 bucks in the first place…being taxed more than 25% is excessive, considering 15% duty and %10 GST.
  14. any idea of numbers tonight?
  15. Sure thing, I'm out and about tonight
  16. see all you slackers later tonight?
  17. I had the same thing happen, take out one of the parcel shelf speakers, and use a piece of wooden dowel to flick the switch back into the working position, you can then open it with the lever next to your seat.
  18. What does this refer to, it's on the top of the fuse box? Just wondering which circuit it is for.
  19. My problem was a simple overlooked fact that the battery was on it's way out....putting an unusual load on the electrical system. It affected the coil-pack power, fuel pump flow, and alternator load...it caused detonation, misfiring and a rough idle all at mysterious varying times. I've got a $38 supercheap battery in until I get a decent one, and it works a treat. I've spent many hours and amlmost a lot of money trying to find this out, try it out it's worth a go. Dan
  20. Yeah an excel did start my car...barely though, the little Korean thing almost had the life sucked out of it I couldn’t believe I nearly bought the Splitfires…that would not have made me happy, to find that they wouldn’t have fixed it for a premium price! I’m glad that the battery just died…at least it made me look at something I never thought of. And yes that means I can head out now, without feeling embarrassed about the girlish performance of my car
  21. I’m with Justcar, don’t try and bullshit the insurance company…it just makes it easier not to pay you out in an accident. I tell them everything...every minor thing on the car, and I’ve been happy with the excellent service. BTW I’m in the same boat as Crooser..my turbo did not increase the premium.
  22. Damn you guys are making me miss uni...I used to love all the bludging around ugh! I need back in!!!
