I'm pretty sure you can use an R33 GTR ECU if you're having trouble getting the 34 one, they both use identical inputs for all the engine signals. It may be a slightly less optimised tune for the car, but probably nothing noticeable. Dan

I've got the kicker KX120.2 Amp...it's power matched to the Sub. Kicker don't repair there subs if the even sniff an amp problem, but they readily agreed to do it for me. Seriously the build quality of the Comp 10 is shocking with regard to the leads. I got great sound....when it was working..I'm not sure about the new design..maybe they changed the way the leads go from the connectors to the coil. Also because the leads were so short, I've got impact marks on the back of the cone!

Don't worry mate we'll get the bastards that did this....oh wait it was self inflicted! Bad luck, nothing worse than being unable to drive your car...I broke my foot once and it was hell. I hope all goes well for you. Dan

Sunnybank carpark! You just said it in one go...my GF works at the centre..she had her car keyed the other week. It just takes too much effort to watch your car while picking up the GF and make sure the trolley boys aren't ranskacking your stereo. It plain sucks in that place! Dan

Just wanted to say I've had 2 Kicker Comp 10 subs and both were dodgy build quality. The first one died because the leads became unbonded...was sent back for repair, worked for another few months ended up with the same problem. This was replaced with another one, which has just crapped itself.....wait for it, unbonded leads! Anyone else had the leads die on the same model? Dan
