  1. Compliance is a long way off! I'd be forgetting that GTR and be looking locally, It's a lot of money to tie up in something that may never be.
  2. Has anyone out there used or know of anyone that has fitted one of these to an RB25DE? All Perfect Run could tell me is that GReddy haven't tested it with the DE just the DET...does anyone know if it is OK for piggy-backing the DE ECU? Dan
  3. There's another Advan series of tyre, apparently a few guys use them for the Tassy and NZ targas, cause they stick like glue in the wet. You should get in contact with a place that stock yokohama, they'll find out for you. As for price, yeah they are expensive but way worth it, in the fact I can drive in the wet without cringing into corners & praying not to crash
  4. Does the R33 & R34 RB25DE share the same stud pattern on the exhaust manifold as the RB25DET's. Could the turbo manifold bolt onto a non-turbo basically?
  5. http://www.auto.vl.ru/partsdb/kladovka/ima...03/DCP_0034.JPG This is the only pic I could find of them at the moment.
  6. Retail these are around $300 per tyre...for 205/55/16's Most places will be able to get them for you...well woth it though!
  7. Picked up some Yokohama Advan A460's at the weekend..... today being a nice wet day, I thought I'd give them a test run. I'd give these a 10 out of 10 in the wet, I've never had a tyre perform this good....traction traction traction! Anyone out there looking at getting new tyres, I rate these! Dan
  8. Just after some pictures of the 4WD gearbox and front diff for a GTR/GTS-4 just to get and idea of how much messing around is needed for a conversion. Anything detailing the transfer for the front diff from the gearbox would be appreciated. Dan
  9. Does anyone have the diagrams etc of how the 4WD system on a GTR/GTS-4 is put together. Just highlighting the drivetrain pick-up for the front wheels. I haven't actually seen one in the flesh and just wanted to know what's involved in converting a RWD skyline to 4WD....what parts are required? thanks, Dan
  10. Yeah the tiptronic is pretty good, I'd never own a full auto....I don't like the car deciding which gear I should be in! I agree with the others, take a few for a drive to gauge if you can live with it....I still think it was the best move I ever made. Also spend that $100 to get it checked, you can never be to careful with buying a used car and for $100 you can't go wrong.
  11. I've been on the hunt for a 34 turbo and have been scared by the responses! There still isn't anyone complying 34's...meaning the small collection we've got over here at the moment is it! I feel humbled to own such an example haha well not for long anyway. Anyone else having trouble finding the car they want?
  12. Ahhhh it was all finalised while I was on holiday! Oh well Hawaii was worth missing out on this......just by a nose though
  13. Is anyone going to post the results of the day? I'll get in first..... an awe inspiring 94KW from the non-turbo slush-box!!! Thank god my 34 is 100kg lighter than the turbo model. Excuses aside that's pretty lame haha
  14. 100% will be able to go (barring nuclear holocaust), and will need a days notice at the most!
  15. Pick me! Pick me! I'll be in for sure if there is a place left
  16. GRY32, I used to see you on Beaudesert Rd a lot in the mornings.
  17. The HKS one is NA, wow I'm not the only sad R34 owner without a turbo Can't say I've ever looked at his centre consol for gauges...I'll look next time.
  18. Yeah that's an A'RES car...see him out a lot
  19. I've seen your silver 34, think you saw me too, opposite directions on beaudesert road.
  20. Yeah I noticed that Optimax did a vanishing act for a bit....Jimboomba was without it for over a week
  21. As my nick says...I'm Dan.....getting around the Southside in a Dark Blue R34 25GT.
  22. I'm using PULP....but always have even in my 86 Twincam corolla. I've got an auto, always have the A/C running and average 9.1L/100Kms ALL the time...I spend a good 80% of my time in city traffic. The 34's are meant to have quite an economical auto set-up though.
  23. Probably the one on carsales/trading post etc that's for sale.
  24. Looks like the NA 34's are starting to come out of the woodwork ...so who owns the 4WD NA 34? Wanna swap drivetrains? hahaha Hey I've got that kakimoto exhaust fitted my skyline......great minds.....
  25. And this one
