  1. Very true, but having it there = insurance payout
  2. Have a quick check and see if the previous owner remove the TCS butterfly, it's only secured by two screws inside the throttle body. If it's not there, when the system kicks in you get some decent backfires as you get reduced fuel, but not reduced airflow.
  3. Just wondering if anyone here is a Pharmacist and would like to help me out completing the rest of my intern hours? I've got 1280 to go.
  4. I know it's becoming more common for people to use Salbutamol (Asthma puffers) as it's a very similar beta-agonist, which you can buy OTC. It's not as good as Clen, but close enough and cheap/easy to get just requires dosing more often. It's puffed directly onto your tounge ~5-10 puffs (don't inhale) and swallowed.
  5. Just out of courtesy I think people shouldn't ask if the car has an alarm or immobiliser, as if someone makes the mistake of saying no, or "it wasn't turned on" the insurance company will void the policy as there has been a public admission.
  6. I've got a shagged R33 tail light here, I'll have a look....I'm not worried about hurting it
  7. I'd go for the gravity gun for what you're doing, unfortunately I'm not familiar with how well the cheaper brands fair as I always used Graco units, a pressure pot unit is really only used for thicker products (industrial epoxy coatings etc etc) and wouldn't give as good a finish as the gravity gun and it's really easy to overbuild the coating if you've never used one.
  8. I had a similar problem, changed over to some really generic Falcadore gearbox oil, Valvoline ATF DX-3 and had a massive improvement which literally eliminated slip. A very cheap and quick thing to try.
  9. The grey sealant goo is easily cleaned up/removed with Shellite if you get it on the lens or anywhere it shouldn't be.
  10. I replaced my one with a "start" button
  11. Hey I know that name, oh so very slowly did the gears click in my mind haha
  12. I'm a big JVC fan, combined with some decent speakers (my R34 had front + rear kevlar splits + Subwoofer) you can produce a very clear and powerful system with tons of depth to the sound. You'll find that you're limited by the compression quality of your music; reproduction is that good.
  13. Take the 3 month extension....you probably need the extra points
  14. Haha I've seen that car, what's that paint job about?????
  15. 'I 8 A V8' is available on PPQ.....and for the next 9 hours 'IATEAV8' is available too
  16. I only just figured, we used it at work (the flock) for putting into our reinforced 2 pack paint, we call it "short stuff" though. Very durable, can't see the sun or UV being an issue....just depends on the type of adhesive they use, and if it's good enough to stick polyester and nylon, then I can't imagine it being your average glue.
  17. May or may not want to weigh that one up on cost effectiveness, I'm still making those for $31 delivered (for SAU peeps). Depends how keen people are to DIY
  18. Well flock me, I never knew it was called that!
  19. Phat orange needles, not sure how blue will go with those....hopefully OK or red is about the only viable option to light the cluster up.
  20. Your compression ratio is higher, so you need a colder plug. BKR7E will do the job
  21. All worked out then
  22. Yeah they were complete tools over the whole incident
