  1. Yep rolling dimater has a big part to play in the R34's normally noticed at higher speeds just as you described.
  2. If you're fortunate, it will just be one of the pins that has deformed...a quick inspection by a suspension place will confirm that. I've seen EXACTLY the same problem before Cost $80 to fix including labour.
  3. Or better still they have someone in custody for stealing your car (caught red handed stripping it under their house), but the insurance company still insinuates that you stole it and tries to "cacth you out" with rediculous questions when you go to ID the car at their assessment centre...wtf? Fortunately it was stolen from the driveway of a Senior Sergeant.
  4. As far as I knew it was only the lean-burn RB20's that were marginally smaller (also a redesigned shape)
  5. Imagine the money he would have wasted getting services done, only for it to get repossessed, I think he's the winner here
  6. Slightly off-topic, they look like dodgy copies, the outer ring is sitting closer on one side that the other. Hasn't been aligned correctly, I think the LEDs used are a bit smaller and not as bright also.
  7. Get the N/A R34 They feel nice and solid and are a great car to drive, moreso than the N/A R33 and are better equipped. With the current market you should be able to pick up something decent for your money.
  8. Helps flush other areas as well
  9. LOL so helpful If after checking all the wiring may be worth checking the bearing in the tip of the starter motor. My one on the corolla had a tendancy to keep wearing in an oval shape; gripping the motor when it threw out.
  10. I love police-speak, they must go to some sentence structure language school in case they have to appear on TV. They throw in that many waffle words they have to think of what they're about to say, makes it disjointed and formal beyond their education level.......allegedly!
  11. No, coupe only....the centre boot brake light insert will fit though
  12. There are 3 plugs on the back, just make sure all are clipped in/seated correctly
  13. When I get my hands on some Sedan lights I'll be a step closer
  14. Definately not an S-Tune....People seem to think it may qualify if you put 65% of the S-Tune package on; but the badge on the back just isn't enough to push it over the line
  15. I don't think it'll be a fuse, the whole cluster is powered by the same source, so if the dials light at night then there is power there. May need to take the cluster out and check the plugs are sitting correctly.
  16. Have any of your specialists considered using pregabalin (Lyrica)? I know some are a bit in the dark with it's use, primarily they think it will only work in neuralgia (nerve related pain) but there is a bit more evidence for the treatment of pain arrising from muscles and connective tissue ec etc. It's not cheap but may be worth a crack as it could work very well. I only mention it as I had a patient come in with similar chronic pain issues, I suggested she discuss with her GP the possibility of a short trial with Lyrica, when she came back 2 weeks later she had an 80-90% reduction in severity, so much so she had tossed her Panadeine, Tramadol and Fentanyl Patches that she had been relying on for the past 11 years. I've never seen such a change in mood in such a brief time.
  17. Running with interval between 10kmh and 13kmh I hit about 170 and gain 1bpm per km I run...max I'd possibly hit though is 178 Normal resting is 58bpm, but if I relax can drop it 50 easy
  18. Just run the diagnostic and see what the ECU tells you diagnostic.doc
  19. My favourite was how quick people in crap rusted old cars would like to suddenly write my car off because it was tiptronic, I'm pretty sure if they had a choice they'd pick it over their Excel, Laser, VN, EF...etc etc
