  1. A bit of a stall with the DIY kits, I've got a complete light set sitting here though, just a straight swap.
  2. Will fit a Chaser and V35 also
  3. LOL nothing sinister from my teenage years, I was a paint/coatings chemist for 8 years so have seen lots of different types of surface damage here and there
  4. spotted a highly pwned PHA715 on the Mt Lindesay Hwy at Cedar Grove, not sure who was at fault....the S15 or the Ute that looked equally smashed, not going to end well considering it was in a road works zone in the wet.
  5. looks like it's been splashed with a chlorinated solvent, DCM in paint stripper maybe
  6. Saw R33 LUV17 on Ryan St, West End
  7. passed 51KRB on the way home from Beaudesert

R33's are fine, they just need to raise the mainsail and tack or jibe to safety
  9. 18CNC, I pass you each day now that I'm working in Beaudesert
  10. I'm thinking it does as I'm sure I connected it up (pin 60) with no issues on my 25GT when I put the triple gauges in. Just look for a small silver canister looking thing mounted next to the filter, part of the filter mount.
  11. Internal or External gate????
  12. haha no, think silver, wider and higher....I even hung out of the window waving, damn R34 drivers and their tunnel vision. I'll get on the horn next time
  13. I spotted Vish up to no good in the Valley yesterday arvo
  14. Here we go again, another low-brow dig ROFL, it appears there is ONLY one other thing you like to stroke other than an L18 and your massive ego....
  15. Yeah you're just an ignorant troll, I'm relaying what I have seen. I don't like Falcons OR Commodores so there is no bias from me, otherwise I'd be jumping up and down saying "Buy an R34" So I'll stick with my labelling of you as a complete Fanboi....your Windsor comments sums that up. Pointing fingers at people calling them idiots; in itself is an admission of your inability to reason or provide a civil argument, the ignorant always resort to put-downs when they're can't provide a decent reply.
  16. You're obviously a complete Ford fanboi (unfortunately like my mate) he's also owned 2 x XY GT replica utes (Purple and Yellow) and to be honest they've been the most mechanically tough/reliable, yet he will actually admit that the newer Falcons are soft. I can also point you in the direction of a few forum members here who have also found the same thing with their brand new XR8's etc etc nothing to do with driving ability (I'm pretty sure he'd dominate you on a track) Until the rest of the drivetrain is up to hauling the weight of the car under decent acceleration loads, the engine is an awesome bit of kit, orphaned in a backward car
  17. Warranty jobs the whole way, through grit teeth with the last one after they agreed to the full FPV cover (in writing) to the modifications ie chip, injectors & exhaust
  18. Diff mounts on every one of them, diff on two of them, 1st and 2nd gear on two of them, 2 x ZF boxes and other drivetrain components. He drove them like you'd expect a performance Sedan/Ute should cope with. Considering these were brand new, 10yo+ Skylines shame them with regards to toughness
  19. My mate has owned the following and not learned a thing- BA XR6 Turbo BA XR8 BAII Pursuit BAII Typhoon BF Typhoon The engines = WIN Everything connected to it and involved in the delivery of power to the road = WEAK FAIL I can't comment on the Holdens, but surely they don't break as easily?????
  20. I actually don't mind the TTS, they're a nice AWD turbo option for those that don't want a massive coupe The B7 S4 is a good buy, don't see many for sale though....the RS4 is still commanding stupid prices on carsales, the B8 S4 or the S5 work out to be much better value for money.....the S5 is my pick of the bunch
  21. Yeah we must finish up around the same time, I see you around there a bit in the afternoons.....dunno if you have seen me now think higher and fatter than the R34 and that's what I'm in
  22. I saw Rush leaving work today
  23. It's a nice simple polymer solution, so yeah clean up with any strong solvent should do- It contains shellite, MEK and toluene, so yes Acetone should remove it just fine. Funny you mention tint though, if you do have tint the toluene and MEK in the glue has probably crazed the surface (giving a foggy look) Glue - MSDS
