  1. I've found a stock BOV with the internal bleed hole made 50% smaller gives a great comprimise between sound and surge. Blocking it completely, surges too much in higher gears on the highway and makes tons of noise. Also try getting a pod, makes much more sound.
  2. OK enough market research, I won't bother getting them made. They were most likely going to be a 10th of the cost, but no-one seems to like them anyway hahaha
  3. My last R34 belt lasted 160,000kms.....then was stolen, so no idea what it's up to now? My Corolla Twincam got to 360,000kms only replaced it while I did the head gasket.
  4. Yep received and good to go. thanks, Dan
  5. OK in my opinion they look good, but I think they're a damn expensive option for the GTR. What do you guys think?
  6. Of the two bolts? Just peak under your boot lid liner, it's right there
  7. Easy as, held in place by 2 x 10mm bolts, then the backing/reflector simply unclips.
  8. OK here's the final news The boot LED is as pictured below, it's a silvered PCB with 3M sticky pad. You simply open up the brake light housing and stick the two ends of the PCB in the reflector as shown (bottom-centred) bolt back in place and you're done! The order has been placed and at the very worst they should be here within 3 weeks (fingers crossed) Pricing is $27.50 delivered through SAU....a good discount over my pricing on ebay
  9. No probs, they're easy to follow, only 3 wires to splice and the digrams show everything that you need to know.
  10. Not always the case though, I was behind a VY Commodore today that had a big fat 'BT-50' badge in the centre of the boot
  11. Should literally have a decision within 10mins of getting the 3 of them Monday Should have been Friday but my wallet vanished during the day and I had no ID to accept the delivery with Grrrrrr!!!!! I'll have one spare immediately (prototype) but the first run of them will be 2-3 weeks away, with fairly constant supply from then on (lots of interest from the UK etc etc) I'm going to have a crack at the reverse light to see if it's feasable to do, don't mind getting few sets made up for SAU, but the fact it may need some oven action kinda puts a damper on it being a commercial item though.
  12. Is it shift solenoid B? They're a semi-common problem, they start to break up internally and give random errors when the gearbox reaches operating temp. Progressively get worse then locks you in 3rd gear.
  13. Any messing with the ignition system will throw the light up. Greddy did make a unit for the emanage that wires in parallel to the ignition feeds and it stops the CEL.
  14. can be with you early next week as I can get them made up this weekend, come with full install details (pretty pictures lol) will PM details when I get home
  15. We now make these to order, so yep can knock them up anytime $45 delivered for these now.
  16. I don't actually have seperate listings for them on ebay, best way is to contact me directly to arrange a set. Still trying to get my webpage built...hopefully in the next 6 months and I can leave ebay for good:S
  17. Yep it's possible, something like that we can't pick up in QC checks...vibration will be the thing that finally triggers a joint failure. Due to the design of the T10's now, even that's a thing of the past, shame we can't pass the change down to the T5's Currently via ebay I'm running about 10% off base dash kits.
  18. How did he manage that? I really want to fit these 36 LED panels in.
  19. OK here is a quick look at the prototype R34 boot brake lights, they come with a few adapter options as well in case they suit other locations. Also something handy, you can cut them to any length. Just deciding on the LED type to go with, screw holes will be added to allow easy fitting
  20. Yep it's a one-piece dash in the N/A
  21. You should have referred him to the curent legislation (as per first post) which clearly states it can be on for up to 21 days provided the current one isn't affixed. Just because it's their job to know, doesn't mean they do. I've worked with enough people to know that's how things are.
  22. coil packs 100%
  23. Good stuff, I'm starting on the right track then. Just need to smash it for the next 11 weeks...I've got a mental set goal before the big 30 in November hahaha (that being to get back where I was when I was 22)
  24. OK a quick question as I'm clueless in this department- When you're doing a bicep curl to failure with the maximum weight you can use for your given amount of reps/sets, is it a good idea to then step down and just use a smaller weight as a bit of a warm down or just stop and move on? Yeah ramadan is pwning my mates at the moment, long practical sessions at uni are proving a bit too much for them mentally, hats off to you guys...I couldn't do it
