I was talking between the sensor and the boost line...not the solenoid. Yeah I've had bad runs with the ones that come with both the AVCR and Profec B

I've never been a fan of them, all the ones I ever put in eventually failed and caused boost spikes as they cracked around the rim and leaked boost that should have been read by the gauge. They pretty much do f**k-nothing as there isn't traditional "airflow" as it's part of a closed end system. All the ones I removed never had a spec of dirt on them. I've deleted them from my setup to minimise places things can go wrong

Yeah, you can get those cig lighter extender things with two of them on, can go in the ashtray (where the lighter should be anyway)

Yeah you can still use the boost gauge from a GTt as it will show vac as well...I'd stick with the factory gauges

At a glance I think they are to do with the Auto loom, from memory the brown one disabled my gearbox when unplugged.

Dammit, you guys have started me ricing it up again How's this, fits perfectly where the "useless" lighter was, it's RFID so knows when the driver is in the car....has a nice Aluminium bezel so matches the interior well. 1 push = Acc 2 pushes = On or Foot on brake and 1 push - Ign!!!

OK I was heading home in the rain about 7:40 when I noticed something up ahead in the road, had to look twice as it didn't look right. Yes there was this car in front of me on the M1 with a trailor going slow.....on the back of it was a UFO! It was a proper UFO with lights around the bottom and everything, typical "Aussie Alien" style it had a tarp tied over it And as with only the best UFO pictures ever recorded, it came out blurry!!!! The irony isn't lost on me at all....now I really do beleive those fuzzy "cigars" in the sky and poorly developed alien photos Looks like they stole it off an Ekka ride or something haha

LOL I'm amazed at the amount of Full Megas out there, they must love them in Japan. I remember when I went to test drive my car and when he started it up it was literally BOOM BOOM BOOM. I was like are you serious????? But yeah on the street when the variable intake opened it sounded awesome and said "look at me I'm a race whore" (in an N/A hahaha) I imaginge on a turbo car it would be toned down a lot though. In QLD now you just wouldn't get away with it. Back in 2002 I actually got pulled over by a speed camera (yes who would have thought) and the guy told me to stop drawing attention to myself, but I won that argument as he cut me off on a left hand turn nearly causing an accident.

Yeah I copped a good dent from an old fag in a Tarago, nice and high up on my door, the prick was taking ages to park and even had his wife move a trolley so it didn't touch his "lovely" car, I had literally turned my back for 5 mins...massive white gouge and he'd fled the scene.

Yeah exactly the same, my car was always down on power compared to another R34 with identical mods. The first time I ever thought something was up was when we both got our CES exhausts fitted at the same time. My car felt mostly the same, his went a lot quicker. I'd love to have the time to rip the head off and have a look at the cams and everything in there to compare and see if anything isn't right

My ones has, and I'd assume they checked that with Sammys sar as well as they'd have live feed of the timing advance directly from the CAS with that software.

LOL, the Full Mega N1 Hyper 2000 = Excessively loud, stock R34 with it was 113dB It sounded tough though, on gearchanges it would "bark" and it scared small children. Downside was that after a good drive your ears would be ringing (true story)

Sam, I think our cars were made on the same day buy the same tool at Nissan, whatever he did it was very subtle and has me at a loss as well....I should be making a fair whack more and can't get through the strange 'ceiling' That chart was a different turbo to what I've got now, but the new turbo still has the same boost drop-off but makes a bit more power. Over the past two years I've tried and changed so many components it's not funny, ruled everything out except it being a 2L and not a 2.5 block (which would explain a lot) Everything anyone has listed here has been checked in my car, the whole system is leak free, dropping the exhaust before the cat did nothing, changing timing with cam gears to massive extremes did bugger all. I don't get the same surge noise, my one is more like someone sticking their fist in the exhaust the second I get ~4000rpm The funny thing is I can let the car free-boost and still get that sort of boost response, trade it in and get an Evo, don't turn into a bitter old R34 owner

Yeah no problem, funny though I just found some stock from a while back, the SAGA/Swoosh equivalent of the Defi Link series. I should put them up for sale. Boost Gauge, Exhaust temp gauge, oil pressure gauge and oil temp gauge. They all daisy chain together and come with a remote control (instead of the control unit DEFI uses) and include all sensors They've only ever been out of the box to see what they look like, then forgotten about in the garage.

Dammit, all this gauge talk has got me looking into supplying them again. I did have everything ready to go with being a supplier for SAGA and Swoosh but the LEDs got me too busy. I've contacted them again so may go ahead with it. Get the car back to commercial jet form
