  1. Nah wasn't me, the car actually didn't move Friday through Saturday due to my BAC not being under 0.05....I love easter long weekend!!!
  2. Spotted "GTR35" at GU uni on the Goldcoast. Gave you a thumbs up, but judging from your disgusted look; R34's are just shit to you now. Hope my 35 doesn't turn me into a flamin mongrel as well
  3. Put me down, I need to have a power run to check something...may as well make a morning of it
  4. LOL operation EXA ended prematurely yesterday when the oil pump let go on the M1, it manage to spray oil over the extractors and "fog" 2 lanes of the highway. Got many dissaproving looks from people, had they been smart they could have easily seen the smoke was billowing from the engine bay not the exhaust. On zero oil pressure I managed to drive it straight to the wreckers and sold it to them
  5. there is a pic of the 6000K in my car, in my gallery
  6. That could be quite true as I sent a load of R33 side feeds to David for cashback also, he mentioned they were damn hard for him to get.
  7. Yeah they're not just highflowed. The 550cc version were bright red solution dyed plastic, not a repsrayed or highflowed Blue (R34) or Grey (350z) injector. I was under the impression they're new items from Denso that are then calibrated by David for the given flow rate, matched and then sold as balanced sets.
  8. Magnaflow FTW, I avoid the "other" branded one like the plague due to the amount of epic fails I've seen them have.
  9. I would have though a GT-RS would have already hit AFM cut at 11psi? I had a highflow at one point that smashed it very early ~10psi from memory.
  10. It doesn't have TCS at all, this unit plugs into the ABS/TCS ECU in the rear of the GTt...your car doesn't have one.
  11. Just get the Deatchwerks, they're plug 'n' play and work a treat, simple no hassle drop-ins. David knows what he's doing manufacturing them. And hey you even get cashback on your old cores when you send them to him after fitting your nice shiny new ones (with injector flow balance report, new o-rings and grease)
  12. LOL spotted you as well, thought it was my mates car...so scootched up for a closer look at the plates and realised it wasn't him
  13. I'd personally stick with a HKS GT-RS, get the gearbox strengthened and stick with a nice solid ~260rwkw+ which you'll find more than entertaining. Don't go nuts and put a massive turbo on as most places can't guarantee more than 300rwkw through the tiptronic even with the decent upgrade kits, the flex plate also lets go past that and you really should be looking at internal upgrades which once again = $$$
  14. Depends if you're talking about a Lexus IS-F or run of the mill Holdens and HSV's from yester-year. My R34 is an auto and it sure isn't slow $10K of mods will get you something fairly swift, $15K will also cover a fully worked gearbox and other mystery components that always crop up when chasing Kw's....then there is suspension and wheels etc etc
  15. Good example, my tiptronic R34 25GT (not even turbo!!) was $34,000 in early 2002 I remember the pricing on the GTt's at the same place was $55,000 for a tiptronic
  16. Removing the bulb would be the quickest option....basically the shift ECU is having a fit that the gearbox isn't where it last saw it
  17. Tossers as far as the eye can see!!!! LOL
  18. Engine Kw maybe or wheel Hp.......no way 250rwkw unless the dyno is the happiest in the world. The stock AFM can't flow 450hp worth of air, nor can the turbo & the injectors would need to be on 100% duty + massive pressure behind them....if it were that simple there would be a fleet of these magic R34's in every capital city. I'm guessing to be running 1.5Bar there has been a turbo upgrade and supporting mods, maybe the owner before you did them?
  19. R34 06/98 RB25 291XXX R34 01/99 RB25 320XXX
  20. Hmm the tungsten looks good it's got a very slight gold-tone, in fact looks like the colour I need for another project at home.
  21. Reminds me of my first R34 I bought in 2002, a '99 model with 47,000kms on it (had log books as well) makes me laugh seeing the ones still selling today with way under that. Even my current one which had obscenely low K's (also log booked and was as-new when I got it) has gained 80,000kms in 3.5 years.....these cars love to be driven
