  1. Sage advice from Howie, in this case it's the best option as you're not using any of the R34 systems or ECU, the only time I'd recommend ignoring those damn lights!!!
  2. Trying to think of the name of the Tyre place near KFC in Beaudesert...they're normally pretty good, if not the place at Logan Village aren't too bad. Rural tyres ftw!
  3. It's the heater core for your A/C rusting through, no idea on replacement costs though
  4. It's all relative, I've always used middle shelf oil under stupid conditions...my engines have always lasted beyond what you'd expect for them. 350,000Kms on a 4AGE living on the redline most of it's life, 160,000kms on an RB25DE+t when that was stolen it wasn't blowing smoke or showing any signs of oil related problems....it must have seemed OK, the dodgy dealer down NSW seemed to think it deserved a rewind back to 35,000kms I doubt there would be any bennefit over most average to premium oils out there, especially the amount of K's most people here drive....just a brand price premium people pay.
  5. 2" larger than the biggest factory option available...so 20" is very legal
  6. *vomit* looks like a bloated Hyundai S-coupe, I like the interior though.
  7. Hmm at an average of 5 years per generation of Skyline, this would be some awesomely futuristic cooling device! Thank god they go back to the R designation. Good luck with your sale "future boy!!!"
  8. OK due to popular demand I've only this week made another 3 of these units....maybe I was just ahead of my time with them before Anyway they're now priced at $40 + postage...damn inflation! I think though they're very handy as you don't have to think about pressing that annoying button!!! If anyone is keen let me know.
  9. I would have shoved him under the car, ruler in hand.....cbf is no excuse, he could get his arse fired for that. Essentially by writing that down he's given false evidence on a legal document.
  10. LOL it's just a double-entendre because he's a big animal "enthusiast" he's watched lots of beavers on his programs "Springwatch" and his DVD's "How To Watch Wildlife" Was a good call though
  11. Spool cam gears, well made, solid construction, good price & an SAU member (Spoolup)
  12. lol the market has changed in 12 months, no high performance cars are on the road anymore....bollocks
  13. sorry I can't arrage any local pickup with the lights.
  14. They're 'Tai Chang Xenon' I can vouch for them as I've had a set in my car for 18 months now after the factory Phillips ones went yellow.
  15. Call MV automatics in SA and ask what's involved, they'd know better than anyone else. I'd suggest contacting Nissan NZ direct for a quote on the part. If you get it yourself you may save a few hundred and then it should only be $3-400 to fit on top.
  16. Get an oil cooler instead of the radiator.....maybe check the gauge also, may not be right. The hottest I've ever got my oil is 110 that was giving it some for about 30mins
  17. No HICAS on the GT, different supsension to the GT-t can't interchange coilovers etc, etc. No traction control
  18. I wouldn't bother with the radiator unless you're doing serious track work, even in the summer I can't get my water temp to budge in my car. The money could be better spent
  19. HPI FTW!
  20. That's a pretty good tune with the NEO considering it doesn't have much to play with in regards to timing. My advice would be to get a transmission oil temp gauge, as a rule of thumb I have to wait until the Engine oil is 90c before I know I can give the car heaps without the auto slipping. A temp gauge on the gearbox would let me know when the time is right, quicker Trans and dff should be OK at that power level without crazy abuse (shoving in D from N) and that sort of stuff. I've had 2 auto R34's over the past 6 years and neither showed signs of gearbox trauma...even the N/A that was boosted.
  21. Looks like a G sensor......but unless your car is/was 4WD doesn't make sense I vote you take it out and remove some of the outer metal to get a better look May be something cool
  22. No, from memory the backplate is different, you may need to swap it over. The R34 and S15 can interchange, not the R33 though What does the plate on your firewall say? RC40, RC41 or RC43?
