The flanges are exactly the same, but the way it bolts up to the turbo means the dump pipe is angled towards the side of the car, basically it's f**ked and won't fit
I had one a few years back, not amout of frigging will get it to fit, trust me
Yeah the Stag used a similar setup to the R33's remote ECM that still controls shifts...much like the R34 25GT, the GTT got the raw end of the deal so can't use the FC
I'm going for +1 for remap as well, I've got a USB remappable daughterboard, cost me all of $200 and lets me frig with the tune to my hearts content via laptop.
Wash your mouth out! POWER FC WILL NOT WORK ON AUTO R34's once you remove the ECU, you've also removed the ECM that controls the tiptronic, you *WILL* be stuck in 3rd gear, do not pass go, do not collect $200
Hey yep I remember, there was some slow toss behind you so had to overtake That was the night everything went bad, ended up doing 2 hours of driving for nothing grrrr (damn mates that leave their phones off after telling you to meet them up)

Is that why R34's have solid lifters and VCT?
The VVL wasn't found on any RB25...hence no RB25VET exists....and btw Nissans NEOVVL was the equivalent to VTEC, not the VCT(NVCS)
Could the ECU have pulled ignition due to knock?....assuming the IMPUL ECU keeps that functionally
The R34 only swaps between 2 timing MAPs, nothing fancy...I think it is pushing it at that AFR ~4000rpm the R34's are pretty sensitive to ignition timing around there.
Lol, VCT is more of a NA, Vtac thang! It refers to the varying inlet camshaft timing
R34's have VCT? How's that NA?
Everyone seems to think the R34 ECU is a clever bit of gear, it really isn't. the R&R is more like "R" as that's where the R34's drop the power through aggressive retarding (see attached stock fuel and timing maps) at 10 psi you'd still have 3 cells to go on the load scale, you'd be sitting about 176 & 128 respectively. Especially as the SAFC Neo is fudging the AFM signal.
I still think it's the VCT shift point (variable inlet cam timing) as that's exactly where my one came into play, then got ironed out with some timing advance to make the overlap less noticable.
Funny stuff! Dad saw the same car, his words were "I saw a car like yours except it had those gay wheels on it, the ones that spin when the car isn't going anywhere"
I laughed
GTRS is basically newer gen of the GT2535 (therefore dearer) saying that you can still pick up 2535's brand new (especially from the US) and make a decent saving, and still get an awesome turbo
