  1. Depends who you are with, 50% for JustCars
  2. Get the justjap stealth FMIC option....it's a similar design to my one, runs back and under and is out of the way of everything
  3. 0 doesn't spund right, 42 does though, no loed free revving would be hitting cells with around that ignition advance. I'd expect it to hover around 20 on idle
  4. Bob Jane T-mart $1400 for a set of Yokohamas....place up the road to me $1036!!!! Why do some places try it on so much???
  5. Lets just say it's a good exhaust, but screams (literally) look at me I used to set car alarms off with my one driving through carparks
  6. ROFL!!!! It's got a Kakimoto Hyper 2000 N1 exhaust, what my old 25GT had.......113dB!!!! Gearchanges sound awesome at WOT...good luck with that!
  7. Nah all good, it's not those ones, it's this type I know what way shitz is meant to be going
  8. OK I've tried the following on the exhuast cam, base timing was adjusted to 20 degrees each time (auto) 4 degrees retarded (car seemed less responsive, could dial in a fair bit of base timing though, didn't seem to drastically improve matters) Had to drop EBC gain to 20% to not go over 0.85Bar 2 degrees retarded (much the same as before, more response) Had to drop EBC gain to 30% to not go over 0.85Bar 2 degrees advanced (seems to have picked up a bit of power) Had to raise EBC gain to 40% to get 0.85Bar Now this is the same setting as another SAU'er told me he was using and picked up about 10rwkw on the dyno. My next thing to try is adjusting on the dyno when it's getting tuned and see the real results.
  9. I'm going with the fact it's been run on a Mainline dyno...in experience they alway show a discrepency compared to a Dyno Dynamics in shootout (as mentioned) My car once showed 187kw on a Minline where it was tuned, then belted out 208kw on a Dyno Dynamics. It's been said a Million times, they're tuning tools...not penis enlargers! Good to see they use a mainline though, geat dynos!
  10. Spotted CYA34....I take it it's been on-sold as I didn't recognise the driver
  11. At close to 200rwkw my stock side mount used to heat-soak badly with the stock turbo power dropped off quickly.
  12. You can put it on, it'll literally boost on idle though. I'd be keeping the boost fairly low as well just so it's driveable and not blowing hot air into the engine (the turbo will be sitting way out of it's efficiency range) It is a fairly big downgrade as you're not going to get much oomph out of it, you may also get detonation from all the extra boost low in the rev range.
  13. It's the whole thing, dump + front pipe in one (turbo back to cat, mild steel)
  14. If you're mad keen for a dump-pipe I've got a bellmouth sitting here (Brisbane) you can have for $100 was a massive improvement over stock, and dyno'd back to back with the CES split item fitted on my car, was only a couple of RWKW difference between the both of them at ~195Kw
  15. As I always said when I got my first R34 (steps back into the time machine to 2002) I had the choice between a very nice R33 GTSt or an R34 25GT (no turbo!!!) I picked the R34 because it simply outclassed the R33, even the turbo couldn't sway me (stuck one on the R34 anyway) But this was back when an Auto 25GT was $34K (ouch) and I don't regret the choice one bit...even when it was stolen and written off, I bought another R34 (GTt this time)
  16. I've got both here, it's wired all arse about face on the back, needs extensive work to fit one into a GTT as the pin-outs for the plugs are vastly different.
  17. Hey mate, if you find one you like...run the diagnostic to see if there are any demons hiding in the past of the car Most people don't think to erase the CEL history
  18. Or e-manage...without it you'll puff big black smoke rings from running too much fuel
  19. Seeing as you said 230rwkw.....old-school GT2535, can be had brand new from the US in the Skyline trim for good prices. Boost response is very good
  20. You name it, it's been changed....last ditch option is to play with the exhaust cam and see if anything can be gained there.
  21. Had a slide highflow, see my comments above I'd be thinking along the lines of GTR pump and fuel reg, 480cc injectors minimum....550cc are good as with the GTRS you'll be chasing more Kw just to make use of the better flow and efficiency of the turbo Boost drop on an R34....well that can plague the best of us for reasons unknown. If only it was as simple as actuators
  22. Coleman...not sure where they moved after Eagle Farm, think it was Brendale
  23. I went from highflow to GT2535....I like the HKS turbo's very impressed, so much so I won't consider farting around with a highflow on any of my cars in future, HKS all the way
