  1. Help...I'm having deja vu! I have replaced literally every single part on the car and still get this "effect" it actually looks and feels like the car is ripping timing from some hidden protection MAP on my ECU...you havea PFC so I'm stumped.
  2. It may read a bit intense but basically, turn the car to On (don't start)...short out the two consult pins for 1 sec (check engine light will go out)...count the flashes of the check engine light....that's it.
  3. Behold! Diagnose this shit!
  4. Mate, it's your coil packs...if it's throwing up the error code and running like shit don't go through the pain of changing them over to find it is them (which you already knew), then having to replace them with splitfires as well. Just get the splitfires and be happy
  5. Yeah can only be done if you patch in the gearshift ECU from a tiptronic fitted 25GT....the GTt has it fitted into the actual ECU Not a hard job actually, just need to scam the ECU from a wreck
  6. Let me know how the boost holds......
  7. Highflowed R34 ones from the US....good option www.deatschwerks.com
  8. I'd get the car, there's no way Haltech are going to be on time....plus if you get the car I can have a look for you as well and most likely save you a few grand....even if the ECU has really gone kapoot, I've got a manual ECU with a spare ignition circuit in it.....think about it.
  9. Great turbo, great response, as mentioned above the 740's are overkill....good for someone looking ata turbo that doesn't have much lag associated with it, yet can still deliver some nice streetable power.
  10. looks like everything else worth cash went....headlights anyone?
  11. OK yep a front mount would be needed...so basically the costing would be FMIC - $600 GTR Fuel Pump $200 GTR Fuel Reg $50 Splitfire Coil Packs $500 Deatschwerks 550cc injectors (drop-in) $600 Z32 Air Flow Meter $300 HKS GT-RS (I prefer the 2535 though) $1400-$2500 (Age/condition complete kit or not) ECU upgrade $500 Tune $600-800 Labour (DIY is more fun and less costly) $1200-1800 The only real option for the Auto is to use a daughterboard ROM...such as Bikirom or some of the Nistune ones getting around, or go piggy-back like e-manage for slightly less control of what's going on. Yep it adds up quickly
  12. Definately a 25GT...it also has a clear bottle for the power sterring fluid, GTts have a black one (as you can see in the pic) It was also an auto now manual, it will lack any of the HICAS and TCS and computers in the boot (attached to the rear firewall) that control them....100% it was an N/A The wheels on the R34 N/A's are 5 stud so doesn't matter about that
  13. My auto 25GT used to average 9.7L/100kms If I did mainly highway driving it was normally 8.8L/100kms....definately never, ever saw it over 10L/100kms.
  14. I've seen all of these engines and know the purpose for which they were initially bought (some very awesome R34 sedans), all are top-condition and a bargain for someone to take advantage of a project that was too time consuming and exhausting to carry on with (those who have experienced the pain of putting engines into R34 where they didn't originate)
  15. You can put a bikirom in, it's a daughter board that currently allows full adjustment of fuel and timing, this weekend we're emulating the factory ECU and unlocking every bit of it we can find in the tables, so basically full controll over everything and anything that it does (hoepfully find this crazy retarding map that's hiding in there and stopping my 250rwkw fun)
  16. Hey mate what engine management are you running just out of interest? We think we've found a look-up point in the factory ECU which down-regulates timing based on a few things, just means chipped ECU's are a pain to use unless you eliminate it.
  17. Yep....made up some braided hoses and fixed it all up
  18. oh yeah..if you click ~1psi in the poll.....picsorban, I want to see the dyno graph and get a run down of mods
  19. OK I've been looking through lots of threads comparing notes on all of the R34's that have started on their mod journey...almost everyone of them suffers from a marked boost drop in the second half of the rev range, more than you would typically expect from a similar modded R33. One thing that has come up with my playing on my car is the TCS butterfly is pretty limp and I did see some gains from removing it. Anyone out there actually got a dyno chart of an R34 with stable boost?
  20. GTR Fuel Pump GTR Fuel Reg Splitfire Coil Packs Deatschwerks 550cc injectors (drop-in) Z32 Air Flow Meter HKS GT-RS (I prefer the 2535 though) ECU upgrade
  21. Highway Nissan did a "full" service on my previous R34, when I picked it up it still had a blown bulb in the brake light, not to mention they didn't tell me the car was stuck in 3rd gear with a busted shift solenoid. I get there at 4:30 and they give me a card for a local transmission place lol, Nissan couldn't even fix a GTt!
  22. S15 diff bolts straight in...did that on an R34 a little while ago
  23. Yeah I'm pretty sure it's a 2" to 2.5" stepped 90 degree....I've got the proper HKS alloy elbow same as above
