  1. Sorted! Thanks AFRO
  2. depends how complete the turbo kit is.....my one was 99% complete and still took me a good 8 hours to fit
  3. may be the piping also
  4. If anyone in Brisbane has stock R34 or R33 I/C and piping I can borrow for a week that would be great, need to diagnose something on my car this weekend. thanks!
  5. Not even....$100
  6. Actually I can't believe no-one has given you the diagnostic procedure follow the link below and tell us what you get R34 diagnostic
  7. I was going to say 02 sensor as well, they do funny things on the R34 when they play up/die, but normally they make the engine hunt low-down then stall on hard braking. Hunting high then low has always pointed to a dodgy throttle position sensor in my book, sometimes something as simple as taikng the connector off then putting it back on can fix a poor contact with the plug
  8. I think you should send the Pringles as well, a show of good faith
  9. Works fine for me...maybe living close to Lucas helps with the extra R34 features That's my only gripe is the gen board I've got isn't real-time....the new boards are though so no need to power-down. Anyway shouldn't be an issue if you're on a dyno and not being dangerous tuning on public roads *recalls a time when the ECU got reflashed while driving along*
  10. I never like that analogy, as the engine is a closed system when the pressure is building up against the intake side...it's just the exhaust gas gets out quicker on the higher flowing part. If it was an open system like a jet-engine it would make sense
  11. Autobarn....that's where I got my ones
  12. The bikirom daughterboard opens up most of the factory ROM for tuning, pretty easy to work with www.bikirom.com
  13. Relocation of the Aibag crash sensor may be required, it sits nicely about 10cm below it's current location, just drill a new mount hole for it. Horns can be relocated to the side of the bumper support and rewired in. Really would be good if it was a full 3" inlet and outlet as well.
  14. It's a simple fact, you buy an R34, you need to buy splitifres to never have this problem crop up. I'd say over 50% of R34's have this issue. It was so annoying the second I bought my second R34 I just changed them so I'd never get the problem in the first place. Also LOL @ the mechanic mentioned above, the amount of times I've seen them say "get a new ECU" as they don't know dick about R34's
  15. Try wiring the RSM to pin 58 instead of 29....Auto's have 2 speed sensor outputs, the second may work fine as it's what the gearbox uses...hopefully the output signal is the correct format. R34_ECU_pins.doc
  16. I've got a mild-steel bell-mouth dump-pipe off my car.....a quick coat of high-temp extractor paint and it wouldn't look too bad (not that you can really see them anyway and the factory one is mild-steel) Great upgrade and immediate power increase over standard $120 pickup from Calamvale
  17. OK I'd swap the Auto display section from the dodgy 7kmh dash into your old one, it sits on a kind of sub-board that solders in (providing it's series 1) obviously it's nothing major as the gear-shit control is routed through the dash to operate properly (god knows why) This should then give you your original Kms (as it's the originaly dash) and working gear shift indicator The dash seems to do a lot more than previous models, I'm pretty sure the speed signal is decoded dash side in the Autos, I saw something similar with a guy that put a GTt dash into a 25GT and it didn't want to communicate and wouldn't display rpm correctly.
  18. Great stuff, I love the concept as it's easier to work on the straight 6 over the V....get them to do a Z33 then hand me the keys

    Gtr R35

Didn't they just....I hit them with it about 7am...they probably had a day of that shit, but either way she was in a mood first up. They were trying to covince me that $160K on road with Nissan warranty was better than a $100K 'grey import' I'm afraid my wallet would have to disagree
  20. My advice, sell it and avoid months of pain and $$$
  21. www.mohdparts.com US exchange rate, plus awesome delivery times (1 week to your door) and service
  22. Yeah must be you...my one was $2000+ from CES
  23. lol you just need to leave it soaking in metho in a bucket....anything with DCM will cut almost any plastic that isn't HDPE or PTFE
