  4. I always used the 145a....but recently someone bought a filter for me and got the smaller version, I can't see how something that tiny doesn't block quicker...in my opinion I like the ol' 145a as it's easier to grab when changing
  5. You've got to soak it, I mean literally dice it in metho otherwise yes it will be sticky. Sit all the parts in a shallow tray, submerge where possible and the paint falls off with little to no help...get one of those kitchen pads with the green on one side. If you're not up to your elbows in metho, you're not doing it right You'll be back to virgin black plastic in no time. With the A/C you need to pop the plastic screen out *carefully* when you're done glue it back in as you would have damaged some clips for sure. Same for the red and blue bit, cut of the melted plastic pins that hold it in, the glue them in when done. There's nothing easier than just painting the whole thing without worrying about masked edges.

    R34 Gt-t Wing

    Yeah that was 3RICs old car...changed his user name to something else though, you could ask him where he got it.

For those that know how bad the factory interior paint is on the R34's (seems to dissolve in the Aussie heat) I've found a low-semi gloss alternative that seems pretty good, Powerplus PJ9184 "SNB 150 Desert Rose Metallic" Just soak/scrub the original paint off with metho, takes no time at all, prime and hit with this stuff and in comes out looking pretty swish again.
  12. Haha yeah, would have been dead on 6:00...I just escaped a tute. I was probably in a daze, I was a bit over it last week, I had a few 6:30am starts at work in Brisbane, then back down the coast for lecture/exams/tutes/labs...leaving no earlier than 6:00pm and generally drained from the shitty highway drive:( Sorry I don't think I even saw you :S

  14. I can only imagine the amount of pressure Aaron is under trying to get these things out, there must be a shitload of orders. He runs a business not only based on highflows, the same goes for the people making them, they have other work also. There is a saturation point with filling these orders and I'm sure he does his best. Yeah I ordered my one back in May last year and had it in a day or so, but demand has blown the delivery times out, you need to weigh up cost vs how badly you need it. Aarons service has been excellent and I've bought a few things from him.

  17. Yeah with no BOV you'll find it laggy between gearchanges, and it isn't the best for the turbo.
  18. I used the factory crossover pipe, with BOV fitted to it.
  19. Just get the deatschwerks, with the trade-in on your stock ones they're a bargain...also with the cost diference just get the 550's in case you change your mind about the power level.

  21. should be the same AFM? I know the R34 n/a and turbo one is the same item. What is the code and colour of the sticker on the side of your one?

  24. why 300? Would 280 do....then the slide highflow will push that with cam work
