  1. mad stuff mate, sounds like its really giving you the true experience in building a car haha as for the intercooler pipe i have no clue how its done ( i hadnt seen that style untll recently) .. i just did a chop and front face on my old r32 drifter worked well and didnt cost near as much as the bigger named brand ones. see i dont mind you kit... though it would look better if you changed your side skirts and rear bar to standard m-spec parts i think it would look a treat! keep up the good work. will be following!
  2. wow.. that is sensational. what a build.. what a car! bit sad i didnt see this build sooner... definitely sub'd would love to see/hear it in person some time!! keep it up mate well done!
  3. hot damn they are sexy as hell! unfortunately XD9s are common but for good reason haha. shame about it though... i just photoshoped them wheels onto your car and it looks sooooo goood lol... why do good things have to cost so much..
  4. shiny things are always nice!! hmmm wheels.. thats a tough one. for size and offset im not sure what would work well for a r32 gtst (i ran stockies on mine coz i liked the look) but a good start is to look into here " http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/84208-wheel-sizes-offsets-for-skylines/ " i used that to find a good size for the r34 and i couldnt be more happy with it.. i would roll your guards (if they havnt already been), r32s need the fattest tyres you can get on them to get that aggressive look. i have always been a massive fan on work miester s1r if i could afford a set i would defiantly choose them. but for the price. i dont think buying them for a non gtr is worth it (cant fit nice wide sizes under) the price you pay is very premium for a not as aggressive stance. maybe some XD9s? look beautiful on r32s but if your willing to put the money down for some go for it. i heard SSR wheels are not as expensive as work (i could be wrong i havnt checked prices) but make "similar" styled wheels. http://www.jdmconcept.com.au/ may help you out bro
  5. mate that sounds like a whole lot of stuffing around but in the end it was well worth it. great news! yeah no kidding that mod plate has taken its sweet time..ahh well it goes back to the old saying.. good things take time. i still think you should paint your cam covers while you wait for the plate just one more thing to do to kill time and make it look that much better hahaha loving your progress as always mate good job!
  6. ahhh shes looking pretty mate great news with flying through the engineering you must be very pleased with that. but sounds like its running quite nicely now with those little problems fixed and out the way. by the way did you end up fitting the high flowed turbo yet or is that for a later date? im keen to see how much this bad boy will pull with it on
  7. Wow you have been a busy bee havnt you hahaha. Thats excellent its all coming together nicely and just in time too. I still love your intercooler mounting every time I see it, it makes me want to do it Great work looking forward to the photos on Saturday
  8. Im on standard rate, which I think is 8k and 6k? Someone correct me if im wrong
  9. Around 2.5" clearance, the br coils are a great piece of kit
  10. im running 18x9.5 +22 with 235/40 all round with BC br coilovers lowered and no guard modification, could get wider tyres on if i get round to pulling out the guard roller
  11. mate that looks great well done! thanks for the pics. +1 for easy to work with r34 stuff totally agree
  12. Its actually not as bad as I thought. They should make it a hard top convertible though I personally don't like how the fabric roof looks.. it breaks up the lines of the car
  13. Looks like alot of fun mate well done on the 3rd placement excellent effort
  14. couple of questions you have to ask are: will you be using an r33 gtst or an r33 gtr (ovibous reasons being ones wider but more expensive) how much will it be to source a 370z front cut/rolling body vs getting fibreglass made panels what engine do you want to run (please say rb26) and last have you looked around for a well respected panel shop thats capable of pulling of such a task but youd be looking at more then what you could build a very quick gtr with to pull this off, and at the end of the day.. doing a conversion like this youd want some sort of modified engine to go into it to walk the walk but go for it
  15. Great vid and wow some amazing gtrs.. though that stupid taxi at the end thinking its apart of the wolf pack
  16. why not buy either and then instead of doing the front conversion do an RB swap always fun
  17. looks the goods bro, just looking at those photos and seeing all the oil and stains on your cam covers.. i thought hey.. have you thought bout painting them while the engine isn't running..??
