  1. It wont be flush to lip itl sit in the guards a bit like stock..may run into clearance issues on front shocks?

There must be a restriction somewhere because those numbers seem a little low side... most SS2s that ive seen are at full boost around 4-4.1k and make round 270-290kw on 98 mine felt into the restricted catagory with the cooling pro bolt on return flow cooler and standard cat and dumps.. 264kw full boost at 4.2k at 18 psi on 98 when i swapped out to some better stuff it ran like a dream now its kicking ass everywhere i happened to get a good SS2 myself its a shame il be upgrading it in a near future..

  6. Hey bro. The cars coming along very nice! Good figure on mild boost for that turbo too.. and yes swap to a flex tune..best thing you can do honestly..the smell of e85 alone is worth it let alone the power, responce and reliability of it shattered bout the front lip..i bought the same lip kit but changed mind not long after. Keep it up bro
  7. Im using a plazmaman 76mm core on custom returnflow piping... not hitting any restrictions caused by it as of yet 324kw running 16psi on flex e70... maxed out injectors stopped me running more boost or 284kw 18psi on 98
  8. Trent will look after you bro hes been nothing less then amazing for my services.. 18psi will be a breeze to get 250kw on...maybe even get a two stage set up say if you make 250kw on 16psi and 267kw on 18psi (examples) can swap between the two for daily or what not
  9. Hypergear atr43ss2 will make it all day everyday and shits on the op6...mind you it is a bit more expensive but worth it
  10. ahhhhh so good! well im happy to help out man.. that's what most of us are here for.. ive learnt a shit ton from the people on here and in person also.. yep shes come along way since you saw it..but its been having gremlins lately so its been pissing me off haha also ive since changed my wheels to a less aggressive more practical setup.. them old 235 everyday tyres were getting punished so upped the size and to semis and im now worried im going to break something when i hook gears on boost hahaha my gearbox hates me right now! yep i would choose the op6 over u21 as well people make stupid power and torque using the op6 its a bloody great highflow worth the upgrade! mind you if you keep an eye out for any ss2's for under 1g 2nd hand in good nick, jump on it theyr rare to see comeup but man its worth it!
  11. hey reece, if your going for the op6 highflow then i don't see why you wouldn't make your 250kw.. but then every engine is different so yeah there's that. i ran no box on my pod filter for a while.. but i did notice better throttle response once the box was fitted.. also keeping heat away is always a bonus so probs a kw or 2 to be had.. your blitz return flow should be fine for 250kw.. i had a cooling pro fmic on mine (when you bought my old coils overs off me) and it made 265kw at 18 psi and that fmic is shit so your blitz should be fine!... on a side note i would have personally gone with nistune for your ecu i know a few people that regretted going pfc v nistune and have made the swap on their neos... plus Trent did mention the nitune runs better on the old neos then pfc (also so much cheaper). i would recommend an ebc like you mentioned my old skyline ran a bleed valve and it caused me to much troubles. and the u21 highflow would be better suited for response as it is a whole 300-400 rpm sooner then the op6 give or take supporting mods and it should net you close if not 250kw with a bucket load of torque cheers bro keep us updated

  14. ^ standard turbo or u21 will be your best bet for spooling quick but thats still around 3000-3500 for u21 depending on suporting mods

  20. Thanks for the replies. Il have a look at my rad pressure/ timing and see if i can log the sensors. Im heading back to tuner next weekend but anything i can do to fix it prior will have me a 2hr each way trip hopfuly

How many times must people be told... its a waste of time and money.. if you want to keep the shell.. do an engine swap as per stated.. there are plenty of people on here who have done the +t conversion and flat out said would never do it again its not worth the drama and money. Its not as simple as bolt on a turbo and front mount.. youl need the brakes from a turbo model too and if you want to do it properly then theres alot more other shit youl want to do.. not to mention im sure the CR raitos are diferent to allow safe boost with the DETs
  23. Its the exact turbo. But the mods are a fair bit diferent so wouldnt be a fair comparison. The blue line is e70 and red line is 98
  24. Neo on forgies oh that would be alot of fun.When i swapped over to external gate i had my bolton and acuator asembly sent back to stao and he sent the vband housing and then you just need to put a vband on your dump and get the gate housing made on the mani.. definitely worth doing!
  25. ^ oneday il be calling on you for guidance on how to build a 2530 neo, if wer following trend it should make more power with no loss in response.. i think thats what hes done across his range of turbos lately
