  1. Sure... i can get better ones in daylight tomorrow if you want, front 18x9 +30 and rear 18x10 +38.. i dont know why the photos are uploaded side ways but yeah sorry..
  2. Just an idication of a 235 tyre on a 9.5
  3. Was a while back till i desided im better off with a better wheel and tyre combo ... i liked it for a while but it didnt last long
  4. Well tyres wernt designed to be stretched on to wheels larger then the suited size.. there for would be more prone to cause an accident wouldnt it? The added stress on the side walls cant be good for it? Plus why would you want to runn less tyre on the road..theyr the only thing keeping you on the road..so run the right size? My theory behind it anyway
  5. with the 9.5 youl want around a +32/35ish off set for them to sit flush but then you may run into issues with clearing suspension arms on the front.. and most likely be limited to a max of a 235 tyre on the front... and possble scrub if your cars lowered to much. on the other hand. 18x9 +30 is the sweet spot for all unmodified guard work on gtt, that being said +20 would sit 1cm further out the arch so more aggressive.. and id run at less a 245 Tyre on a 9" wheel unless you want a tiny bit of stretch. but if you do go with the +20 offset stretch em tyres or your gonna have a scrubing time
  6. I have exactly those profiles wheels and tyres and fits 100% perfect, no scrub or lock rub and im on ajusties slightly raised to just below stock high. I dont think rolling guards will help as they will poke alot my old 9.5 +22 poked about 2cm or so. Um maybe have a look at viva garage for some fibre glass wide fenders or more expensive fit a set of gtr fenders. Good luck mate
  7. Yeah mate dont get 9.5 15 they wont fit at all unless you have wider guards, try 18x9 +30 front and 18x9.5 +35 rear will fit perfect if you cars lowered on coils maybe roll gaurds but i dont think youd need to. Check my sig for what im running with unmodified guards good luck
  8. Talk to hypergear about a suitable turbo.. im sure hel reccomend his atr43SAT which will make your 400kw and wont be too laggy but will most likey require e85... 400 is possible to make, if you are willing to drop a bit of cash on it but youl probs be running like 20-24 psi.. or the other alternative is you go gt35 and lag all day long annd yeah you get the point.. or there is the other option and go for an ss2 and make 300kwish on pump fuel and have alot of fun.. thats my 2 cents on a plate for you
  9. MATE if i had not have just got my whole front mount custom done like 3 days ago, this would be on its way to my door! good luck with sale bro ps sorry to hear about the car, was watching your build too :( sad news man
  10. Hey cowboy, if its not your daily. Might i reccomend instead of doing that. Why not just go for say the 21u or the op6 On full e85? Both have seen over 300 fair easy on e95 with basic bolt ons? Just a thought
  11. Ok so ive had a sneak peak at this ss2.5 prototype result (i will not spoil it) but omfg stao.. you are some kind of god with turbos! Haha
  12. Had the same exhaust on my r34gtt and its nice and quiet at idle and warm and sounds good at WOT. Gws
  13. If you make 20 psi at 3.5k rpm il send you my current ss2 for a overhaul.. i cant imagine how insane thatl be on an ss2
  14. Hey bud. It sure is, only asking 180 for it now
  15. Cheers for the info. As far as im aware the internal was stao for hypergears heavyduty actuator (i cant runn any less then 18 psi boost) and the external is a 45mm turbosmart, with a standard spring id asume
  16. What a steal. Good luck with sale mate.. these shouldnt hang around long!
  17. Hey guys,My car is currently having its internal wastegate converted to an external setup. I was just wondering if it will be safe to drive prior to a retune? As i need the car to get around and the tune is about 2 weeks away. And by driving i do mean not thrushing it just moderate 3k rpm changes Cheers!
  18. Saw this on my fb feed and hot dam it is so awesome. Would love to get my hands on one but hell i couldnt possibly have the car to justify it haha
  19. Let us know how you go mate. Would like to know what you end up going with
  20. Current state my ss2 makes 18psi at 4100 but its under the knife atm and should make 20 by 4000 on flex fuel and external gate... my mates r34 gtt has the u21 (r33 highflow from hypergear) makes full boost at 3700ish on e85 19psi any of the highflows will be brilliant and the ss is a whole another level of aggressive boosting if you want response the u21(33 highflow) is your best bet, its not as responsive as stock but its as good as itl get. The op6 (34 highflow) is a tad laggyer (300ish rpm give or take depending on suporting) but has a higher power output. but If you look at going for the op6 i would highly recommend concidering spending a bit more and go for an ss2 Its an unreal street turbo and bolts straight onto the r34 turbo mani and lines up with stock dumps My 2 cents cheers!
  21. Ahhh what a good laugh puts a cherry on my last night on work holidays
  22. 10k a week. Mate dont bother buying a r34 then.. go buy a bad ass house serioudly though if you make that much i dont think your question is worth asking since you could literally go buy what ever you wanted and try it out.. just my 2cents
  23. Yeah im not to sure about the mixed matched rims, but i guess you dont really have a choice. Have you thought about saving a little extra to buy a better quailty wheel? My rota wheel cracked after 10k km under normal road use..now i have a set of rotas and a cracked wheel sitting around doing nothing haha
  24. Hey mate, i havnt been able to find anyone in geelong who does rbs (that have good knowledge of the engine) i do the S.E melb travel for my work (if i cant do it myself) if its just general stuff then just go to your trusted Mechanic? What sort of work were you wanting done?
  25. Pros: of buying the skyline on your ps to drive legally on the road. you drive a skyline... Cons: cops will love you.. youl be slower the old bogan mate in his commondore. Oh and did i mention the cops will love you! Youl get over it quickly Honestly your better off buying a little run around car for your P's and saving your money to buy a gtt when your off your Ps. Youl have a better base to begin plus you wont have to do the whole +turbo conversion and to do it legally itl cost you more then a gtt plus it wont be any better then a stock gtt. Its been said a million times wait till your off you Ps. One of the guys on here did the conversion and he knows his stuff.. he said its not worth your time If you dont plan on driving it untill off your Ps then dont buy it and wait.. itl be to much temptation to drive it and youl most likely get caught if you do.. I know its hard to wait but it is the best thing to do. Good luck P.s your in the wrong thread mate
