ok so i just did a quick calculation for you and the size for the front would also be 9.5 + 35 BUT the problem is im not sure if it will clear your springs. 9.5 on +30 will stick out about 6mm from the guard and it means youl have to probably have to runn a 235 tyre
-
9.5 with + 30 would stick out a bit. Trying to fit a 9.5 on the front is hard any chance to run a 9? (i would personaly recomend a 9" on the front) 9.5 is to much because you have to run a stretched tyre to be "legal"
-
Yeah 9.5 +35 should fit perfect. As for front i used to runn 9.5 front with +22 and that stuck out about 10mm so maybe +28? I know 9" with +30 is perfect

Wow matt that is the definition of a perfect 34r excellent mate. Black r34s are my weakspot

Thats right staos plan is to use the "common boltons" that people use and see what sort of figures these mods can potentially make if pushed as hard as they can go. Which i think is a great idea. But i stick to what piggas said.. but then money comes into the picture so yeah its a two side story
-
^^ exactly.. im going for a 3.5" exhaust for my goal of 400+kw, imo just makes it easier to achieve and more reliable

Oh truuue makes sense.. im looking at hypergears new gtr45Sat turbo.. its a super responsive 400kw turbo for an rb26.. so on a rb30 it should be a hell of a turbo... in theory -

^ ouch man thats shit about the defect.. what did he get you on??.. im also looking at doing a neo 25/30 for around 450wkw In about 6 months time.. havnt decided on the turbo but the one im thinking of going is looking very promising. Keen to know what know what interals youl use.. -
Love your 34r John, man its quick and sounds amazing!
-
Yeah definitely look into a metal 3" intake pipe.. mine was sucking closed after just 220kw so its a no brainer if your wanting more then that. i would recommend 21u if you want good response. But if you want a kick in the face at 3.8-4k rpm definitely go ss2 without a doubt

Hey bud my old rb20 r32 made 207rwkw at 12 psi on 98 with: custom highmount mani, wastedspark setup, custom 3" no cat exshaust" 550cc injectors and 040 fuel pump, nistune and a new zealand made turbo i cant remeber what it was called but its a little bit smaller then a 3076r.. this was before i fully build it... hope that helps
