G'day fellas, As title stats i have a complete drop in package. yes i mean everything only thing u well need is a couple of vacuum hoses and n couple of meters of fuel line. motor was running fine when removed but has been sitting in my shed for a year now. down to business, RB30 bottom end RB25 S1 head with s2 coil packs. not 100% if the head is S1 or S2. standard manifold with 38mm turbosmart waste gate n screamer pipe im not 100% on turbo but its a little smaller then a gt30. turbo is a garrett metal intake pipe with hks mushroom pod filter. front mount intercooler with all alloy intercooler piping custom froward facing throttle body with accelerator cable still on pedal. just checked the ecu's led has a solid red light all the time. no flashing. tried to find some info about but seems that it should flash if there is an error.

got 0.8 mm plugs, tapped up the coil packs, cleaned the connectors n loom. still running rough on idle a missing under load. i got a new fuel filter and noticed when i turn the key to acc the fuel pump stay on a lot longer then normal. even after i have tried to prime the lines 20 times.. :-/ any chance the pump is shitting itself. or is that the kind of thing that "it works or it doesn't."

hey guys plug gap is 11mm same as the old plugs. the plug cap shouldn't matter on a fully standard car only running standard boost. should it? also its coughing and farting on idle now then miss fires on free rev. i check coil packs n coil loom all wires are good. couldn't see any burn marks or arcing. man this is doing my head in.

well check the loom. just checked the old plugs the last service i got done the dude has put BPR6E.. which are completely wrong. They are a lot thicker. could of those plugs stuffed the coil packs? new plugs installed are BCPR6ES. been trying to check the resistance on the coil packs but can't seem to find if Rb25DET S1 are the same as other RB coil packs and meant to be between 0.6 to 0.9?

G'day guys, i just serviced my r33 93 gtst. standard service plugs filter n oil. put it back together and it sounds like its miss firing. iv tested the coil packs one by one and its seems they are ok cause every time i pull a plug off it miss fires worse. when under load it miss fires and spatters.? is this a sign of a dying coil pack.? any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers for the replies but still don't help me. lol i know a hiflow or a 3071/76 would be better. but i don't have either of them. I'm not looking at spending much money on this thing as it is my daily. have the 2867 with the t25 housing as it was on my 180. and it was a lag monster didn't make full boost till 5200. lol my cams didn't help it either have 264's in it. i didn't want to take my standard turbo off if the housing won't fit the 76 i believe it should as they are both t28. cheers again.

G'day guys, I'm after some info on the 2876r. yes i know it is a shit turbo, its not good for anything and all the rest. but i have it and its sitting in the shed (yes most ppl well say leave it there). it has the t25 housing on it and seeing if it is possible to fit a standard skyline R33 turbo housing on to it?? as i wanted to bolt it up to my 33. reason i wanted to use the standard housing is because i have a CES dump/front pipe i wanted to keep.
