I also had a same experience, same as sonicii's, I just took it down to local exhaust shop and got them welded. cost me around 80 if I remember correctly. Make sure your exhaust shop don't break the seat bolt cover.... dkhead I took it to broke all the teeth on mine so they don't stay in place properly..
