Hi all its time for me to think about selling my car
its an R31 aussie skyline series 3
the car has had a few mods done to it.
Details of the car are:
series 3 skyline thats silver in color. the car is fine and everything works 100% there is some damage to the drivers door and front gaurd but nothing that is to savage and cant be fixed easily, i already have a spare front door sitting here in primer ready to be painted and i have the spare gaurd around here somewhere aswell which will fix the dint in the door and gaurd. also front bar needs to be painted. The damage thats to the car is nothing major, i have had the damge on the car since i bought the car 2 years ago as it was my friends car and he did the damage to it, i wanted to get the drivline right befor i painted the car, unfortunatly now the car has to go.
freshly built motor with forged pistons, O-Ringed block, reco head, exhaust ports machined out, custom cam shaft, N/A inlet manifold, new rings and bearing of course, balanced the crank pistons rods flywheel and harmonic balancer. new water pump and timing belt and all the other stuff you do on a fresh motor rebuild. motor has done roughly 9000km's since rebuild. the motor is capable of making good power and reliable now due to the O-Rings and forged pistons
gearbox is a tri-matic 3spd that was built by KEAS automatics and anyone who is in the performance scene with drag racing will know and respect paul for his excellence in his autos. The clutch packs and drums and all the other jive thats in the autos have been replaced, has a 3spd full manualised valve body and 3200rpm convertor. also running 2 oil coolers for the transmission oil.
The diff was rebuilt about 12 months ago with a mini spool installed to replace the single spinner due to the power the car is now making.
Turbo is a TO3 with T4 inners, it has a .60 comp cover with a 57mm front wheel and a O trim exhaust wheel in a .70 exhaust housing, the comp cover has been power ported for better air flow entry into the turbo, there is the option for internal wastegate aswell, currently i have the internal wastegate disconnected as the car is running a 32mm garret external wastegate.
the boost is controlled via a blitz dual SBC boost controller which are a very nice boost controller that retail for $400, boost is currently set to 1 bar which is 14.7psi.
the car has a custom fuel system with external fuel pump whch is good enough to supply power for over 250kw at the wheels.
the wheels on the car are a set of Simmons FR17 with silver centres and polished outers.
there a 2 gauges in the car which 1 is an apexi boost gauge and the other is an autometer silver series trans temp gauge.
the car has electric windows.
also the stereo in the car is made from a pioneer deh-p9650 head unit which is pioneers top of the line car head unit at the moment which retails for $1000, speakers have custom door pods with pioneer 3 system that was custom made. has a 6" bass speaker 4" mid bass speaker and a 1" tweeter in the front doors, 2 alpine v12 amps to power the stereo. no subs but one of the amps is for subs.
the boot of the car has been boxed in with black carpet to make it look nicer. 6 cd stacker and alpine amps mounted to a backboard. battery has also been relocated into the boost aswell.
the alarm on the car is a viper 791 with lcd keypad, top of the line viper alarm that has a turbo timer built into it aswell as remote start to warm the motor up. when i had the alarm installed i also had fitted a battery backup to the actual alarm so if someone tries to diconnect the battery from the car the alarm still works 100% including all motion sensors and imobelisers.
car has been fantastic to me and i will definatly have a tear in my eye when it leaves the driveway of my home. It is very nice to drive and a WHOLE lotta fun to drive, the car last made 187kw at the back wheels with the old N/A - turbo conversion motor. now with the new motor with 7.5:1 compression and new head/cam it will make over 200kw at the wheels. i have dyno sheets to show power figures. all this car seriously needs is a computer fitted and tuned with larger injectors, that way you can run more boost and easily run a very very low 11. car is more then capable of a 12 second pass as it sits this second.
