Personally I'm a huge fan of Canon, they're easy to use, you have a multitude of 'manual' functions that most other 'point and shoot' cameras dont have and they're quite hardy for how small they are. in my time I've had an: A70 - stolen Ixus 60 - GF's point n shoot EOS 20D - my toy anyway, best way to find out what camera you like is to go into a shop and spend 1/2 an hour playing with them...

What materials? 'Normal' Sizing? (ie, a L is an L not what would normally be an XL) Postage, approx $$ ? keen on a 5 pack, will PM once Q's are answered. -

whoa there big fella, english and grammar usually help when you're trying to explain something, reading the above hurts my brain. So, you have a white front panel & grey bumper, and you want to get it back to the same colour as your car? DIY or at a Workshop? a front end-respray from a workshop would be the best way to get it matching properly and lasting the distance. DIY - I'd avoid rattle tins, so do you have a compressor & spray gun? It would be a matter of sanding back the rear bar, priming, colour coating and clear coating or buffing depending on what paints you use... although the process isnt quite as simple as it sounds. you can get your paint made up at most auto places (Auto1, Autobarn etc etc) however it will be to original spec, and not match 100%

Putting Back Original Tires
B. J. replied to jarthel's topic in Importing, Compliance, Modification Laws & Regulations
as long as they're road-worthy, I dont see an issue with them... I dont think there are any laws pertaining to where your tyres came from. -
I'll second that, angle of the camera vs angle & shape of splash is all wrong...

I used 2 pacs at home... no one ever said anything to me about it being illegal... Very easy to apply, alot like acrylics. not sure how they'll go in the engine bay tho, I'm sure they'd be fine. I've heard of people using all in type one paint for engine bays, generally used on outdoor steels and stuff like that - I believe White Knight do the paints, I've seen some good results. my R31, in 2 pac paint prior to pre polish cut-back (2000 wet):

I'm a big fan of JVC Head units, good bang for buck. $450 will see you with almost anything in their CD range, and you can touch on the entry level DVD stuff too. http://www.jvc-australia.com/JVC/client/c_...group.jsp?id=27

1500 to 2500 is fine, just make sure you use alot of water add some detergent (it stops the sanded paint from pilling) and take it very easy. I'm about to do the same for my 'backyard' project - then I'll take it off to a shop and have them give it a complete buff/polish/wax.

Anyone Know Who Repairs Carbon Fibre Bonnets?

post up some pics of the damage? -
the new 2 pacs actually dry quicker than acrylics, much faster. I've just finished spraying my 31 in 2pac, home job. 7 minute flash off, 20 mins and you can sand it & recoat, maximum of 6hrs before you re-coat. the '2pac' base coats are basically a fast dry enamel, 7 min flash, 20 - 40 min re-spray. yes, we did use all the right breathing equipment, full face masks with Isocyanide filters. If you are doing a spray job MAKE SURE that you have a face mask that covers your eyes and filters that are Isocyanide safe - they cost more than normal particle or chemical filters.

I have 235/45's on 8.5's the walls slant in just a bit (mind you they do have that rim protector), hardly enough to tell when the tyre is on the car, but easy enough to see when they're off. not that you can tell from this angle.... and not that this is much of a stretch... but its a 235/45 on an 8.5 for you. yes, they're Veilside marriots, 17x7.5 & 8.5 +28 4&5x114.3

Shit eh, someone said he looked pretty crook after it... AND he had to put up with TT... I recon if I flipped any car at 250kph and came out with a headache and 2 black eyes I'd be happy.

There is a Silver 33 around town (Orange) with 34 GT-R rims, and Vic plates...drives around & around & around...argh. spotted a silver 32 parked up near the state forest on the Cargo road (Orange again) on dusk (7.30ish) tucked up behind some trees, lights on... the 31 gets a few nods from the 32,33 guys around town... never chatted to them, apart from the fella selling the 32 4 door... the 31's are taking over tho, got a 350kw coupe, a big 30ET GTS2, a tidy turbo Silhouette, a super clean Stocker Silo, my GTS1 and soon my GXE daily!

Very likely Brenken, I'll have to hunt thru the pics tomorrow at work, coz I left my CF card there Here is a link to what should be the video of the crash; however its been cut in typical channel 9 news style, the footage was taken by Prime TV Orange, I saw it on the local news last night... from what I could tell he dropped a rear passengers side wheel off the track, which flicked him sideways & started to turn over when he hit the grass, and then slammed into the kitty littler which produced the roll that ripped the car apart. http://video.msn.com/?mkt=en-au&brand=...t_en-au_general I also did a dodgy record of the laptop screen with the digicam, so I'll upload it & throw it in.

How did you manage such a long exposure on the 350D? got the remote switch or did you have it hooked up to the lappy?

Currently have an ixus 60 as the daily snapper, very handy little camera, havent found it fragile, they're small but take a great pic. Used to have an A70, that thing was like a tank... dropped, kicked, abused, and all it did was keep working. tad old now, poor thing got flogged down in Melbourne.
