Quite a few of the NSW and ACT R31 faction go... its a fun event, I went in 06, and I'll be going again this year. About 8 31's from NSW and ACT went last year... R31's repped well but we had a fairly poor 32+ showing. This year the Track events will be at Winton.

Hey all, I just got a phone call from a mate saying that there are cops galore on the Hume between Campbelltown and Picton turnoffs, they're pulling any form of modified car over and obviously giving them a good shake down. There are also unmarked cops patrolling, and a cops parked in any U turn or stopping bay... if you're headed to Canberra, make sure your car is 100% legal, find another way, or dont bother going... either that or bend over. Remember its Double demerits and fines until the 6th... so it could be very painful. cheers, Bj.

Yeah BS if you ask me... Ok so it cost you between $3000 and $6000 to flog your car around the track and actually be taught to drive Panorama... but c'mon its nice to be able to watch that shit, they had rotars, corvettes, a few of the 'brutes', the petbarn Monaro's, + heaps heaps more, but we couldnt see anything properly I sent a message to the organisers asking why the whole mountain was sealed off, and why there was no information regarding it on any of the websites ie: Mt Panorama, BLCC or the official "Drive Bathurst" website.

So what went on guys? Mt Panorama was totally sealed... for the track day *edit* it sounded like they crashed on the mount... Someone in a 180 ended up with a bent car before they even made it there, with R33line as passenger... (AFIK) hope all involved are ok & i hope no one was being silly buggers to cause the accident.

got all your plastic guards in place? perhaps they're scrubbing on your wheel in some spot? have a look... it would at least rule it out.

OK SO... the "Central West" 31 lads will be meeting in Bathurst to have a watch of whats going on for the day, I think there will be 3 or 4 of us west of Bathurst. so Bathurst SAU lads, feel free to join us, We'll be in town around 10:30 and probably meet up at McPhillamy on the top of the Mt. Any one else coming up I'm sure we'll see you around. dunno what anyone from Sydney is doing... suit yourself.

good good! lol Ed & I will be coming from Orange! few of the NS guys seem keen too... checked the BLCC, doesnt seem to be much on, their last stuff is on the weekdn of the 8th/9th... however last time we checked the website (before the 31 cruise) they had nothing on (nor did Mt Panoramas official calender!)

Crikey thats early! We'll be in Bathurst before 11! Perhaps slightly later? 9 for 9:30 leave or 9.30 for 10am Leave? Anyone checked the Bathurst light car club website?
