  1. Get a R32 rb25de head and put that onto the 30 bottom end then the 20 loom will plug in. Win Win.
  2. I got sick of removing my cheap ebay one and getting it re-welded. Def go a good one next time.
  3. I also had -7's on the old built motor i had in my stag, TBH felt a tiny amount laggier then the stocks in it now but not enough to really cause any issue's, awesome to drive and pulled hard. Very driveable as a daily, if i ever go a GTR i would be gettting -7's again.
  4. Shit man i cant believe it was that long ago! Will still look sweet in the mag tho.
  5. Brads the man with all the answers! Been waiting for it to come out in HPI taken for ever!
  6. Its one of those conversion's where you can never give an accurate estimate as so many little things would need to be done. Most workshops would probably give you and over inflated price to cover any unforseens to which you will most probably baulk at, then tackle it your self and then see why the large figure. Factor in the motor, gbox, wiring, fuel sytem, fabrication of engine mounts, gearbox mounts, tailshaft, engine bay or trans tunnel mods, cooling sytem mods, exhaust etc etc and then there is all the fidly little bits (that VERY quickly add up), plus the killer of labour. Go the RB25.
  7. If you increased the surface area inside the insulated pipe then yes it may make a difference. As it is now it will not. At idle it may make a little difference to the intake temp, but once moving any gains would be very small. Nothing wrong with tinkering but.
  8. Yeah not sure on it, the 1st pic looks OK the rest a bit
  9. Fronts will be fine, so probs. Rear's the 265's might be a bit close, probly only need a roll to clear them though, with a 235 wud go straight on. And with the above pic's, his rims will sit in further then those.
  10. Dont know if anyone has seen these before, while googling at work when i was bored (often) i came across these. He will post to us over here, have already asked. Got quoted around 300 pounds to send front and rear kit to WA. Has some interesting options, and relatively good price's even considering the exchange rate and freight. http://www.skyline-owners-club.com/forums/...buy-2010-a.html http://www.db-power.co.uk/index.php?cPath=128
  11. Buy mine, strip out the stock 26 and flog it off and install 26/30
  12. I think brad has had many probs breaking axle's with his 26/30 in his stag, talk to unique 1 about it. Auto maybe a bit gentler on them.
  13. My wife drive's a 34 4 door, that manages with 1 baby, were upgrading it for the 2nd. As some mentioned before try the pram before you buy the car, we didnt and the damn thing dosnt fit in the boot without being pulled apart. And with the baby seat in the backward facing way for new borns i didnt fit in front of it, so i allways had to drive and the mrs was allways cramped up on the passenger side. Stagea has a little more room, but still not heaps. Pram and that fits in the boot, but again not much room in front of the baby seat, and now that have changed the rules again so your child has to be in a harness type seat till there 4yr's old. IMO go something larger, instead of compromising there is alot out there.
  14. That one has been advertised for alot longer then that, longer then i have had mine advertised for! The market is shit atm.
  15. As said the rack mount bushes are cheap and easy, the front sway bar ball joints you can get from nolathane i beleive, around the $150 ish mark from memory. Front shocks wont be to hard to get, or a rear wheel bearing. Are they sure the rack is stuffed? Might just be the excess movement from the bushes and or tie rods? 2nd opinion for sure.
  16. Personal import FTW, best stagea ever IMO. If it came to australia i think i would sell my 1st born for it
  17. Yeah my 34 does the same, drive's me nuts. Specially at a busy servo when u want to fill up and the people behind you think your being a wanker and going slow on purpose. I to am yet to find the "sweet spot" with the bloody thing. Not all car's have the restrictor thingy your talking about, as most car's i think allready have the small opening to only fit unleaded nozzle's in, i think it was more they were fitting anti syphoning things in? Well from what i can remember.
  18. I guess it depends on how complete you want it.
