  1. How do you go wiring it up?
  2. G6E turbo's are nice... Big car though. For 35k there is ALOT in your price range... test drive as much as possible and make sure you know what you need before you do. IMO evo's are an awesome car in that you can take 4 people in relative comfort and still be stupidly fun.
  3. Just did then, thats it im buying it in 205ltr drums! im going the same setup us SS8 Gohan's 34, bring on 280rwkw with a completely stock looking engine bay.
  4. Stooopid WA we cant get E85 anywhere from the pump, have to buy it in 44gallon drums, like the old avgas days.
  5. Ive never heard of going down after 100k's? Maybe thicker as it gets older? Its just interesting as the oil grade i was told to use is no where near the factory quoted stuff and the motor is still fine after 160k's and oil's clean as each service. Of the top of my head i cant remember exactly what it was, will have a look 2moro as i need to get some more as its due for a service again. Edit: just looked in the garage have been using a 10w40 mobil, so not that far off, my bad, have dirty SR's stuck in my head not RB's.
  6. 0-40w oil in a RB seems a bit thin?
  7. Yeah sounds about right, was it a hot day? That allways kills the power.
  8. Hey mate yeah they are nice car's.
  9. Well they kinda do, they have what they call a fake 5th, its when the torque convertor locks, u can feel it when it slips into 4th then drops again. Mine sits on 2700rpm in 5th at 110km/h. We get 500km's a tank in it on long journeys which i reckon is excellent, seats are OK for long distance.
  10. Child slavery was invented by parents who wanted to still be able to afford such luxurys as motoracing.
  11. Bump make an offer guys very negotiable. Even a 3-4k car i can daily and cash the rest.
  12. Im willing to drop it a bit lower, just not a heap or like i said im then going cheaper then the sum of its parts. I have tried wholesaler's to, being a weird car there not to keen on it, espicially being over here in wait awhile.
  13. All in all they are an excellent car, if looked after properly will serve you fine, mine has done 160k's and still going strong only thing we have done is coilpacks
  14. Have spoken to him and he is no longer looking for a stagea. I dont want to have to pull it apart, i just cant see any other way of ever moving it. They just dont seem to sell.
  15. OK i have had my stagea for sale for ages, i cant sell it, i cant trade it. I dont really want to go much lower as i know i could part it out for more, when would you say yeah stuff it im gonna part it out. Is it worth it? Yeah it takes longer to get the money, but im going to be using the money to finish my house so i can refinance the mortgage and get the MRS new car. So if it takes a few months, well its gonna take me a few months to get everything done anyway. What should i do? Im over the whole stagea experience, great car's but ive had nothing but trouble from day 1. Opinion's?
  16. Looks good! what throttle body did you use on the plenum?
  17. Im after some series stagea brake line's, the flexible bit that goes from the caliper to the fixed metal line. Im only after the front. Possibly the bolts that bolt the calipers to the hubs to, front and rear. Cheer's
  18. My 34 has done 160k's still with stock turbo. Im suprised the turbo has lasted this long, engine i have no doubts but turbo i thought would of gone.
  19. Yeah same size on all corner's, 235/40/18's, front guards are lipped and slightly pulled, rear's im yet to do havnt had time, but my old 34 had same and they needed to be lipped, not sure how much lower i went, just kept playing with the height till it looked right and stopped scrubbing, front's are borderline without camber adjustment, id say go a 225. Havnt had much time to do anything to it lately, jsut moved into my new house, try and start on it soon once's the boring house stuff is done. Ended up not going with the Teins and went some HKS coilovers instead.
  20. Im after the front flexible brake line's? From the caliper back.
