  1. Mine has the stock manifold, i'll try and get the dyno sheet off the tuner.
  2. Mate has a JK Wrangler Rubicon Petrol, returns 14lltrs per 100k's towing on 35" tyres. Most reliable 4wd in our group of tow car's. I use a GU Patrol, awesome for it, also on 35" tyres so struggle's a little on hills, but after towing with it, i will never use anything smaller.
  3. I emailed Kando about a non anti surge housing, suprised i got an email back after i was told i was blocked after leaving neautral feedback. $175 delivered, in stock now, i'll order one and do a comparrison.
  4. That does suck, normally happens on Oz though when your the first to try something, such a pity.
  5. So sounds like i need to email Kando and never get a reply back on buying a non ported front then!
  6. Yeah i did mention maybe its just the difference between the two dyno's making them appear to be delivering differing reults. Im not complaining in anyway, once i can get back to the dyno and put 20psi in it i should reach my goal of 400rwhp.
  7. Exactly. Either way it was big for a relatively small motor, but as you mentioned large displacement type agricultural, sooooo much torque. Always got hot, burnt the paint off the motor. We had the stock SU draw through carb on it at first and just couldnt get enough fuel in it, loved it.
  8. A good mate played with Sigma Turbo's years ago, no matter what combination we put on it the exhuast always got BS hot, take it for a thrash and be glowing like anything. That was with a stock motor to, std cams etc. From memory he used a stock sigma turbo manifold/gate combo with everything from the Std T3 they used to a huge 1.06 rear size T4 combo. Was mint to drive, punchy as, good fun just didnt like to rev.
  9. Mine did 380 @ 17psi, and the other a bit more @ 20psi both on 98. Other people are getting 450 on 98 with non ported.
  10. Just going off what you did and Moogz (i think thats his username?) did and myself with the anti surge versus some other results with the normal housings, of course accounting for the difference between roller and hubber dyno's.
  11. The anit surge seems to make a lot less power then the non ported one? Or am i the only one thinking this? Response etc sounds the same, just down a bit on power? I have a T67 on mine, you need to fabricate a new pipe to go to the throttle body, you cant follow the same path over the top of the fan and across as the intake of the turbo is in the way, and no way will a return flow work, you will need to go a normal style intercooler layout with the cold side coming out under the battery. There is then height problems to the bonnet as R34's have the factory coolant bleeder right where you want to run the piping to keep it low, R33's dont have this, i removed the bleeder and the piping just fits. The intake on the turbo is also very close to the loop of the power steering hose, you need a very tight bend. Because of this and the length of the intake piping putting the AFM in the piping is better to avoid reversion.
  12. Anti Surge front? Or normal?
  13. Stickers dont imply immunity from hoon laws either...
  14. Mine's done 170,000 might need to look at it then. Surely you would go for one Balls and All tune to crack 500rwhp then back it off a touch.
  15. Thanks for the replys guys. It was Mu's Secret sorry: http://www.musecret.com.au/category37_1.htm I have emailed them but as of yet no reply, i took it for another spin the other day, when its hot u can indent the underside with your finger nails...
  16. Wow that's an epically clean conversion. Awesome work mate.
  17. Won't fit on his manifold though. I'd go the TD06 and enjoy the response if it's a street car. I love the way my T67 brutally ramps onto boost, but if I was using it daily the lag would horn me.
  18. Hmmm might ring Project Mu then. Thanks guys.
  19. Hi guys, I bought a Project Mu CF vented Z tune style bonnet for my R34, drove it the other day on a 35deg day and when i pulled up the bonnet had a weird smell to it (like the smell of body filler) and was really soft, like i could distort its shape with one finger and when i popped the bonnet the hole thing flexed. Is this normal for a CF and Fibreglass bonnet? Im just worried about it cooling down and hardening in a deformed shape. Cheer's!
  20. I'll grab one this wkend. Only has a 3" hotdog thats it, 3" all the way from the turbo to twin tips, can hear me coming from a long way away.
  21. Loving this thing at the moment, just gotta fix the limmiter issue, hits the hard limmiter before the soft limmiter so dies for 5 seconds then power comes back. Other than that so much fun, effing loud but i dont do laps through town in it.
  22. Had this exact b problem with mine. Tuner finished the tune on the dyno, shut the car down. Un did the straps went to start it and fuel poured out the exhaust. 45Mins later got it going again.
  23. I did the reverse light wiring as per the giude at the start. are the pic's not working? Speedo wiring is just wired the speedo sensor from the box to the old one, the plugs where different but just got a new water proof plug from auto one and wired it in, doesnt matter which wire goes to which.
