  1. I have to disagree. My stagea has a few sus mods (nismo struts n springs, adjustable arms front n rear etc) and a good wheel alignment and yeah it does handle well, very good mid corner grip, good balance etc, but has not got the turn in of the other cars mentioned, and most of the feeling of handling i think comes down to the weight and long wheel base, it feels more planted becasue of this. My R34 sedan would easily out handle it, and it only has Nismo coilovers, my old SR powered R34 sedan would out handle them both again, my 180 that i had had awesome turn in and good balance under brakes but was very nervous every where else. I drove my mates R32 GTR that had basic sus mods and it definatley would out handle the stagea, excellent turn in, great grip and felt awesomely planted through the corner, and having less weight it would change direction and react beter and faster then the stagea.
  2. Does anyone know if the front upper arms are the same between stagea's and R33/34 skyline's? The cusco camber arms in my 260RS are in need of some TLC so i have some stockers to put back in there, then was thinking of getting the cusco's recon'd and putting them into my 34 sedan when i start tracking it, i think they are the same? I know the easiest way would be to look, but im lazy and thaught id ask 1st
  3. Some bilsteins will let u lower it slightly via a circlip groove on the bottom spring platform yes. Get a R33/34 HICAS lock bar, there the same, and with the steering arms that the HICAS actuates on this will change ur toe. The whiteline kit that sqaushes in is the one people are talking about, should be some rings or known as "pineapple's".
  4. I went for the Project Mu b spec pads, awesome bite and work straight away, a little dusty but not as bad as the formula ferodo's ive had before. I just went some stock R33 GTR rotor's, at the time i wanted slotted but didnt have the kesh.
  5. Ive heard good reports about the ISC one's, i will go these if i keep mine excellent service from them to. The rear cambers arms are the same as S14 yes, there is no point getting rear toe arms, get a hicas cancellor as this will kill 2 birds with one stone, get rid of the hicas and give u toe control. Get some castor rods for sure, keep in mind you need R33/34 one's, then will need to put the studs from the stock stagea one's into the adjustable ones as the studs they come with are to short. Sway bars are worth it for sure, specially for a lard arse stagea. My 2c.
  6. I have pics of that at home (at work now) its a green colour in the day. Nothing like the breeze colour.
  7. a built autech 260rs plus cash my way?
  8. june allready? i will still sell it as is or stock later, my house is 5months away, wont be doing anything till then.
  9. allows real time tuning of the ECU via the consult plug, awesome setup. Will be doing this on my 34 sedan.
  10. did u get my PM with the contact details for the front cut?
  11. i have a heap of 02 sensors, i am unsure if they work or not so not to keen on selling them on, best to get a new one, i think the EL falcons ones where the same just had to put ur plug on it, around the $70 mark?
  12. Ouch man just seen the photo's... Wow Yeah it wouldnt be to hard for a good panel beater, its just all the fidly bits that will take up the time, i know of a S1 260RS frontcut here in WA, might be of some use? Best of luck with it man, hope it all works out for you, the car was looking sweet.
  13. I have some stereo brackets. $30 delivered. Check the link in my sig for pics.
  14. Bump Will swap everything thats left (adds up to $2200ish) for a set of R34 GTR rims or something wide and nice offset, sick of the stock autech rims (which can be included in the swap). Or someone just buy the lot and i'll do a deal, old man wants it gone from his shed, the "few months" i said it would take to get rid of it has been and gone.
  15. There were quite a few differences we found. All the holes as you mentioned, the front chassis rails were chopped for the bov return, the actual rad support seemed different (allthough we went from S2-S1), no idea on lights sorry. The holes to mount alot of things were actually there, like the mounts for the bottom of the intercooler etc, was suprising. Did you have a front end crash? And looking to replace the front part with a RS4 part from a 1/2 cut or something?
  16. So sorry to hear that mate.
  17. oooh i like the look of that... the grill and black bonnet and all... I keep seeing modded ones and makes me wana keep mine.
  18. phwoar that black one is hot!!
  19. I wonder if he knows or is the bloke that burnt me. Autech's may be his favourite.
  20. That last bayside blue one you posted with the CE28n's I think i wud struggle for a colour choice to, being such a big sided car. I think in red with the R34 GTR rims would look nice, also maybe a nice bright metalic silver.
  21. Id say the Bee'r copies, as silver car with black rims allways looks nice, and will need the bigger spokes as its a bigger car. Also as mentioned better offset will make them look beter again, then dump it son.
  22. The 550's still avail? Go straight into R33 GTR? plugs the same etc?
  23. I never drained the cooler or lines either, ran one on my SR for 3years with no probs. If your not running a thermostat just remmeber in winter its gonna take a while for the oil to get to operating temp.
