I have to disagree.
My stagea has a few sus mods (nismo struts n springs, adjustable arms front n rear etc) and a good wheel alignment and yeah it does handle well, very good mid corner grip, good balance etc, but has not got the turn in of the other cars mentioned, and most of the feeling of handling i think comes down to the weight and long wheel base, it feels more planted becasue of this.
My R34 sedan would easily out handle it, and it only has Nismo coilovers, my old SR powered R34 sedan would out handle them both again, my 180 that i had had awesome turn in and good balance under brakes but was very nervous every where else.
I drove my mates R32 GTR that had basic sus mods and it definatley would out handle the stagea, excellent turn in, great grip and felt awesomely planted through the corner, and having less weight it would change direction and react beter and faster then the stagea.
