Happy to see another nice stagea in Bunbury. I had to try and catch up for a look I get about 450-500k's yeah country driving, when i drive my car to work (up the collie hill) i still get the same. Around town though id be lucky to get 300k's. Go's in for a tune next monday so hopefully be beter after that.

Still have the skirts. I wont be able to get a definate price till wednesday when i finish work, id say would be around the $100 mark. I dont have net access at home at the moment as i have just moved house, best on my mobile atm 0419943997. Chef stagea exhaust is gone sorry mate. -
It was the earth!! Took every earth point off, rubbed em back and smashed em back on. All sweet now. Attessa working, temp gauge being normal, everything works beter.

If you havnt ordered it yet, if you are 100% sure on the part number try streeter (i think he's on here?) i just got a part for my stagea, Nissan australia wanted $367 he got it from Nissan japan (he lives over there) for $310 deliverd. www..jessestreeter.com may be a bit cheaper. -

Thanks for the fast replys guys!! Hmm earth seems to be the main suspect. Finish night shift 2moro morning, after a nanna nap im onto it. I didnt know the gauge and ecu used diff sensor's? Thats a very handy reading!! Im not sure on the workings of the gauges. I know with my wifes R34 GTT when it got hot once the A/C turned its self off, with my stagea even with the gauge was showing on the H line A/C was still cold.

Hey guys, im having a complete brain f#@k with my car at the moment. The temp gauge seems to have a mind of its own, i dont know whether its a real reading or not. Basically whats happening is, when i drive it the temp gauge starts to read hot, put my foot on the clutch and give it a free rev and the gauge drops back to normal almost instantly. Start driving again and it goes hot, turn the lights on and it goes hot, turn em off and it comes down. It dosnt get hot driving round town with the A/C on only when im going up the big F@#K off hill up to my work and cruising for a while at 110km/h. Im thinking it has to be electrical, as im also having problems with the Attessa, the 4wd light is basically on 24/7, oil level is fine and its not showing any faults on the LED (assuming the LED aint blown!). Sometimes the light stays off, turn the lights on or A/C on and it comes on, Makes me think maybe an earthing problem, as my engine bay has been resparyed ETC maybe its not getting a good contact, i havnt checked yet as the stock earthing point is buired under the intercooler piping. (gonna check this next day off). If its something to do with the cooling system, maybe thermostat jaming? Or engine fan not working? I have orderded a hand controller for my PFC so i can check the sensors as im getting a bit pissed with this. Any idea's muchly appreciated!! Cheer's.

I read through some of it, i tried searching but for some reason the search function was having a day off and not working for me. Will try again tonite, stupid net at work is the ghey. Sounds like i need to wait to get the H/C?

Hey all I purchased a power FC for my Autech 260RS, the correct type im told (R33 GTR). I tried to plug it in to make sure it was OK, car is still running stock inj's/afms. When i turned the car on the check engine light come on straight away and the engine hunted between 2000-3000rpm. I immediatley shut it down. Tried again, checked it was plugged in OK but still the same thing. Put my MINE's ecu back in and it ran fine. I mentioned this to someone and they mentioned the PFC may need to be reset? How do i do this? I dont have a hand controller for it yet, i do have one coming soon though. I was told the ECU was brand new, as my first thuaght was maybe it had a previous tune with other afm's and inj's etc. Any other idea's? Cheer's guys.

It would be better to run both yes. As someone else mentioned the hand controller is a good way of checking vital sensors etc. Very handy, i dont use one in mine as i have a 10yr old who would probably think its a video came like NFS. I do want to get one though eventually so i can monitor things.

Assuming you are selling the Profec B to fund the PFC? Go the PFC and remove the restrictor, 14psi + good tune will unleash KW for sure. Better option is both obvioulsy. Ive used the profec B's before and a very good unit, pretty easy to tune and worked very well.

dont know if people know but this can be used for R34's aswell. Pedal will line up to all but one bolt. Fine to use though. If i had the money id get it for the missus R34 damn cheap. -
Its the Brockman highway. + 1 for awesome road. And yeah tests out the suspension allright!! Missus R34 Gtt bottomed out numerous times. Allthough road surface isnt to bad considering. Worst hazard is the caravans and tourists. I have an awesome map from BP australind down through there and back. 1/2 a day's worth. When i get a chance was gonna organize a cruze if anyone wants the map PM me.

Huh? I ts either the fact that ive just about finished a 12hr night shift or that makes no sense? A screen both sides of the afm, restricting there air able to enter the afm. So you have an 80mm body with a 1/3 blocked by the screen. god i need sleep. -

Spotted a stock Blue S1 on me way to work today on the Coalfields highway towards collie, seen a few times must work same place as me . Stock looking with extra roof racks. Also a black S2 in town in Bunbury quite often.

A mate who has WAY to much time on his hands worked it out (measured the size and length of the wire). The screens blocked 33% of the AFM he reckoned. Unfortunatley he never did a run with and without. -

OH shit thats handy... My Autech and the RS4 had diffrent space savers, and the trim piece that goes over the top is different, if you try to put the RS4 over the Autech space saver it sits up to high, where as the autech trim is recessed to suit? Mine gets about 450km's a tank. So sounds about right.
