  1. Sweet thanks mate! I was thinking a long the lines of the duetch plug as it needs to be water tight under there, NFI how the old one got smashed
  2. Ages ago i did the manual conversion on my R34 using R33 parts. The speedo sensor plug was different, i purchased a R34 Speedo Sensor recently to replace this but it appears the plugs been damaged so i dont know which way it goes, if i put the two wires the wrong way around is the signal going to damage anything? Goes in for a tune soon and needs the speed signal, if i cant get it working prior i'll just get the workshop to do it, but would rather do it myself instead of paying them. Cheer's!
  3. To suit R33 or R34 25? Very tempting...
  4. Thas the one, should hear it loaded up in the bush
  5. Mate put a 3076 anti sugre with a .82 rear on his GU Patrol TD42, highmount manifold and external gate. Thing is super responsive and makes about 180rwhp, which for a diesel is a lot. I beleive Kando are starting to make some TD05 combo's aimed at Diesels, United Fuel injection in Perth are using some now.
  6. If your wastegate is stuck open this would mean it has no vac/boost signal? So maybe the vac line you have hooked up to it is leaking through the wastegate straight to atmo? Causing both issues?
  7. So all the fab work will be finished this wkend. Then she should be driveable. Few more things to do yet. Goes in for a tune October the 3rd. Looking forward to getting it going. Got a drift practice October 13th so better get moving! Few pics of it filthy in the garage.

  10. Is it just a breather hose? If so just leave it vented to atmo just so you can start it! The idle from those cams will remove all the pain suffered during the build. Oh and BTW that engine bay looks awesome!! Wish i had the coin to make mine look that neat.

  12. Just done mine with 60mm Defi's, have done them on a previous R34 aswel. First time i mounted them inside the gauge pod and just modified the original gauge mount inside to hold them in. Looked neat and they were hidden when off, bit of trial and error getting them centered. This time i wanted them on the outside, so i just removed all the inside's, cut some slots on the round part, then heated it with a heat gun and forced the guage in, so its nice and firmly mounted once it cooled down, doing it this way there is a gap as the pod isnt flat, but i wanted this look this time. As for the wiring i used the orignal gauge wiring to get 12v+, Ign 12V+ and Illumination 12v+ and then i ran a seperate ground.

  14. You have much more patience then me after what you've gone through, or a drinking habit.
  15. Sweet! If they leak, im gonna burn it.
  16. Thanks for the input guys. They are firm, dont just free-wheel if you know what i mean. The other issue is i cannot re-use the injector retaining clips due to the spacer design. Aaaah its been to long in between playing with cars ive forgotten everything! Damn kids!
  17. Might need to bleed it at the transfer.
  18. Got most the piping done, injectors in, gauges all wired, oil cooler mounted, radiator done (had to trim the shroud a shite load), will do seats 2moro. Shitty pic, still gotta do some cleaning and painting in the bay, not much point till its done as i know i will scratch it https://dl.dropbox.c...%2012.24.18.jpg
  19. Yeah i used some rubber grease i was recommended. Ive got a few other jobs half way through before i feel comfortable priming the fuel system, will try and knock them off and try it with a extinguisher handy. Wouldnt be so bad if the stock manifold wasnt such a carnt to get off and i never tried em till i'd put it back on FML.
  20. Oh wicked. That means it has to all come apart again
  21. Ive just chucked some injectors in my R34 Gtt, these one's: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Nissan-skyline-NEO-r34-Stegea-350z-370z-infinity-g35-bosch-750cc-Fuel-injectors-/180959307948?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2a2203e8ac Now my question is, they seem to have a lot of movement? Like i can twist them now their installed? Is this because they are to small? I measured them as best as i could and the length and diameter seemed right? Or do most new injectors have a little movement? No up and down or side to side, just i can twist them. They were tight into the rail and head. Just a little concerned before i pressure the system up and spray fuel everywhere. Cheer's.
  22. Sounds like a attessa problem. Check it's got oil. Check connections etc.
