Thanks for the replies guys. Bar has been repaired as it was cracked, but is a good finish. The section that was repaired is in primer, and the rest of the bar still has the origin paint on it. The rest of the bar has slight fracture marks as the bar flexed a fair bit when it was damaged. Will the whole thing require undercoat, or can I take the clear off and paint over it?

Hate it!.. Just lip the front and rear guards slightly. Look way better than bolt on Torana guards.

Hey Just preparing my front bar to be repainted, just had a few quick questions in regards to what grade sandpaper to use to prepare the bar. The front bar has already painted with a clear coat etc, just wanted to know what would be the best grades of paper sandpaper to use to get it ready to repaint. I want a really good finish, so if someone could write up the procedure with the grades of paper that would be good. Dry/wet sand, paper grade etc etc Thanks, Abu

Use like a 10mm spacer that should do the trick. I run 235/45/17 on the fronts, but thats an R32 and with 17" wheels. I don't have any issues at all, even witht he car really low. It's not really relevant but, you will need to get the offset for more information.

Thats good then, as long as your happy with it! Boost controller, for like 16psi and under you can use a bleed valve called a TURBOTECH boost controller. There about $35 from EBAY, and have been proven by a lot of members on the forums to be a very good upgrade. I have one, and will be using it sometime soon. PFC I would also like to get, but is pretty much not an option. I saw one on the forums recently advertised for $1,900! I'd pay $1,200 but not $1,900 lol REMAP is a good option, or if you don't want to go to hard out an SAFCII or Greddy E-MANAGE is also good, that will get you to 200rwkw.
