You'd be pushing a 2530 pretty hard in my opinion to get to 240rwkw as well as a RB25 high flow. I don't think an RB20 high flow would get to 240rwkw?

No more than 190rwkw with supporting modifications on a standard RB25 turbo on an RB20. Read through this link below for some more info on turbo selection and power figures. Short answer though. A HKS/GARRETT 2535 should get you to 240rwkw on an RB20 with supporting mods.

Thanks for your reply mate. Yeah also heard the same thing about both turbos, 2535 being slightly laggier than the 2530, but pulling very hard up top. I am leaning towards the 2530 and will most likely go with that if/when I am ready and do find one. about 220rwkw should be good as I wont need to upgrade the injectors, but I will upgrade to a Z32 anyway. I want to do a few other things now as well like 2way LSD etc, so to much power wouldn't be ideal for what I want to do. Thanks, Abu

There was a brand new kit for sale on long ago on SAU for $900 I think it was? I was also thinking HKS2510 would be good for your application and about 200rwkw. Would be very punch and responsive, give spool and strong power through the rev range.

Most skylines have factory oil pressure, even though there inaccurate it still gives an indication. I'd personally get an Oil temperature gauge my self.

After checking for leaks and atmo BOV, check your spark plugs. Does it miss fire anywhere in the rev range?

Cant remember how loud the WALBRO's are , I'm ordering one tomorrow and will have it in by Friday so I can let you know then. GTR pump is fair loud, thats whats I have in my car right now. The BOSCH 040 is very loud, you can hear it from a while away.

Quiet a lot of high power cars (mid to high 200rwkw) running WALBRO's. Maybe they weren't original WALBRO pumps? The ones that SLIDE sell flow 255lph, and if I am not wrong thats more than a BOSCH 040?..

Suggest you get a WALBRO pump, there about $160 delivered via express post from SLIDE, and are direct replacement of the standard. GTR pump isn't a direct fit, but will flow 300rwkw if in good condition. Fuel pump is always a good upgrade when increasing boost.

He will haev to change the little mounting points all the away around the cooler, but there pretty useless as it wouldn't work on an R33. Basically he will just need to make his own mounting brackets.

Just look at the picture I attached a few posts up.

Thats an APEXi ECV (exhaust control valve). Its hooked up to a valve on your exhaust which opens and closes and acts as a silencer. What your looking at is the lever to activate/deactivate the silencer, a cable runs from that lever to the valve. Push the button and pull it, and it should make your exhaust quiet.

Rotate and mount the cooler this way if your facing the front of the car. (picture attached) Basically you could set the piping up like a return flow setup. Leave the piping stock in the engine bay as it runs in to the guard, take the stock cooler out and making the piping from the cooler join onto the exiting piping from there. Hope that makes sense.

The xr6tubo/typhoon coolers are pretty good flowing coolers. Most of the XR6turbos run minimum 248rwkw on stock intercooler with no issues, so I don't see why it would not work for your applications. Only issue now is custom piping.

I am pretty sure there is a guy on the forums running a 3071 and making 300rwkw on a internally stock RB25.
