  1. Thats very interesting! Will have to keep that in mind for future references. Thats the good thing with WOLF plug and play unit. Even though they are plug and play, they don't automatically default back to a base map when disconnected, for instance to a RB20DET map. I think the old MICROTECH'S (MT8?), when disconnected from power for a period of time when default back to the base map. If you wanted to change that base map the unit had to go to MICROTECH to get reprogrammed!
  2. Tough as! More pics!
  3. I just bought a plug and play WOLF3d unit for RB20/25, send me a PM and I will give you some details and pricing.
  4. Basically if the VL is running a RB20DET motor, which would be out of an R32 or CEFIRO most likely. To run the RB20DET its most likely running the RB20DET loom, which would mean that the WOLF would most likely be a plug and play unit suited to RB20 loom. I also have a WOLF plug and play which is suited to RB20/25, as the loom plugs are the same? I have also seen LINK ECU's which plug into RB20/25/30 looms. It would be safe to assume that it would plug into your R32, but would just require a retune.
  5. Not a problem mate, good luck with it all! Which EBC you going with? I recommend a BLITZ or a PFC EBC kit BLITZ's ones are so simple to setup, will only take a few minutes. Very easy to configure and adjust as well. The solenoids are a really good design and hold boost strong. BLITZ DSBC SPEC R are a dual solenoid unit, could get one for about $300 2nd hand. Otherwise a 2nd hand GREDDY PROFEC B II, about $250 off the forums. Also very easy to setup/adjust. Thats what I recommend anyways lol Thanks, Abu
  6. LOL TURBOTECH - Very good value for money. I just sold my brand new one for $35!
  7. Also consider that there is no need for you to turn the boost up, then down every time. Run it on 1 boost setting as tuned and drive it off boost if need be! If its tuned to 18psi, and you put it down to 7psi, it will run a bit shitty.
  8. More info on EBC vs TURBOTECH This is an awesome thread. This will cover almost every possible question you have. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...troller+install
  9. Installation guide for you my friend; http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...troller+install
  10. Guilt Toy is in the thread now, he will answer most of your questions I hope But I personally think a bleed valve can hold boost very well, depending on the type of bleed valve and how its intalled. You can get different types of bleed valves which work in differnt ways.. some are good, other are shit. TURBOTECH has been proven by MANY to be good. I will post up a intsallation link for installing a bleed valve into an R33. If you want to run dual boost use a bleeder, or in my opinion if you REALLY want an EBC go to a PFC boost controller kit. That will do the job.
  11. There was a big discussion on this not long ago. I remember GUILT TOY I think his name is was running about 20psi with a GT3540 on a TURBOTECH bleed valve with no creeps. Run the boost controller off the cooler piping and off the turbo wastegate, bi-passing the standard solenoid. Are you going after market ECU? If so get a boost controller kit for that particular ECU if you want to go EBC, otherwise don't bother. My opinion though.
  12. No point man. Get a good bleed valve. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...p;#entry3342193 Check out the TURBOTECH one I was selling, and there is a link to a full write up on it. Your best to get a good bleeder and are better off spending the money on something you really need.
  13. LMGT4 BLACK all the way!
  14. hahah fair enough.
  15. What are they worth in 18"?
  16. Again, an ECU is only as good as the tuner. Someone who is familiar with the WOLF ECU and its functions would be able to pin point the idle issue and basically fix it with the required dyno time, where as if your not familiar with tuning WOLF or any other brand of ECU, it would obviously take you longer to fix the problem. Maybe you cant tune WOLF for shit?
  17. TURBOTECH MBC sold pending pickup. Abu
  18. Hahah sorry man its been sold just a few minutes before you SMS'd me. I just came into the thread to update it. Will let you know if sale falls through. Abu
  19. Ah everything makes a whole lot more sense now! Thanks man. lol
  20. How about going for a similar look to the Z-TUNE? They look heaps tough, black wheels, still with dish. Sort of the same style as DRIFT-TEKS or whatever they are called.
  21. Even white centre with a polished lip looks hot on silver.
  22. R34 GTR rims are nice, but I don't think the gold/bronze colour suits the silver. Go for something with a black centre and polishied lip. Just my thoughts
  23. SSR's are fkn hot!
  24. Hahaha
