  1. LOL nice one!
  2. Fuel pressure regulator. Holds more pressure in the fuel rail so that the tune runs a little richer. Like Jono said, not needed if the car is tuned with some sort of engine management.
  3. Thanks heaps man. Yep, am considering GTRS or Rb25 max high flow, but wouldn't mind going slightly bigger just in case I scrap the RB20 in the future, then I wont have the hassle of looking for another turbo, can just use the one I was using on the Rb20. Roy's car is a machine, love it! Makes awesome power, and for the amount of time its lasted with the trashing he gives it is unbelievable. Thanks again, sorry to go off topic!..
  4. Is the 3037 internal or external gate? Roughly when do you make full boost with the 3037 on 16psi on an RB25? Basically I am just interested to know if its to big/laggy for an RB20 as I am currently looking for a turbo. Thanks, and sorry to go off topic.
  5. That looks nice man, looks very Euro. Did you buy it brand new?
  6. If its a leaking gasket you can try this; Good trick to test a leaking gasket is to get a thick cloth or rag. Start the car and let it idle, then get someone to hold the cloth/rag over the exahaust, blocking it completely for a few seconds while someone sticks there head in the engine bay on the turbo side and listens for any exhaust leaks! What it does it builds up the pressure in the exhaust, and it leaks out from the weakest point (gasket leak). Try that, if you have trouble man, I will check it for you on the weekend when I pick up the wheels. My cousins a mechanic also so I will get him to look at it also for a 2nd opinion, as he will be with me more than likely.
  7. Don't think a dying fuel pump will make too much variance on idle. In my past experience a dying fuel pump makes the car slightly hard to start, hesitates in the rev range and also pings if its turbo. The more you think about it, the more it sounds like an AFM issue. Abu
  8. Keeping the GTST or going to the GTR?
  9. Will fit on standard manifold low mounted. Can fit on a high mount manifold, will need custom lines and also custom dump.

    Wtb: Stock Air Box

    PM sent. Abu
  11. Check under the oil cap to see if the oil is milky. Also check the water in the radiator to see if its oily. Check the dipstick also, see how the oil level is, and how good the oil looks. Is it over heating at all?
  12. Sold pending payment. Abu
  13. PM replied mate. Abu
  14. Not a bad price at all! Might check through RHDJAPAN or something, not a fan of NENGUN. Yeah NENGUN delivery time is just stupid. I have heard some bad storys about that. 770cc are over-kill but a good set of GTR ones set you back about $300, rather pay $500ish and get a set of 740cc and new as well, which I can use in the future if I do upgrade from the RB20 to something larger.. Haven't decided yet, but just considering, as someone said its only a few hundred more than GTR ones
  15. Plug is a plug mate, they do the same thing Just different brand name thats pretty much it. $40 posted to your door, and will do the job nicely. Here is a thread in regards to the installation/wiring up of the Z32 with the plug; http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...p;hl=z32+wiring
  16. Where can I get a set of 770cc Nismo injectors? I want to get some for my RB20DET but don't want to go through NENGUN because there un-reliable. Thanks, Abu
  17. After some research I am pretty sure its a TOMEI plug judging by the look and the colour of it. http://www.justjap.com/forumz32afmspecial.htm As seen in the link above, its the same plug, $40 + delivery, I am selling it for $40 posted anywhere in Australia, will do a better price if you pick it up! Was told its an APEXi plug, but I am pretty sure its a TOMEI.
  18. You have to run twin AFM'S (MAF), cant run 1 because the ECU wont know wtf is going on. Just get the Y-pipe to save issues, alternatively upgrade to a ECU that runs a MAP sensor (MICROTECH, WOLF etc..), that will enable you to get rid of the AFM's. You cant run them in line, I reckon it will run like shit. Whats the issue wth the Y-pipe? Price $?
  19. There is heaps of threads about this man. Just do a search in the forced induction section, for AFM in cooler piping.
  20. Thats a good break down of whats required. A full gasket kit would make things very easy, make sure you replace all gaskest with new ones. I will probably sell my piston ring compressor if you wanted to buy a good 2nd hand one to do the job. Only been used once, still in mint condition. Saves you buying it new
  21. One of my friends EL Falcon which was once upon a time a taxi is about to click over to 1 million KM's. If I am not wrong that should go back to 0000000 or something similar lol Will get a picture of it once it does. Still on factory motor too lol
  22. LOL
  23. If you have some idea of what your doing, and have seen it done before do it your self. Its really not that hard, just make sure you have a good torque wrench, piston ring compressor, few sockets and a ratched, and a clean area to work in. Have everything ready and it should only take you a few hours to assemble. Maybe speak to a professional that is qualified and knows what they are doing to get a few tips and tricks. Me and my dad assembled my forged RB30 bottom end, all brand new stuff went into it. Fair simple and straight forward, but my dad as assembled many engines in the past. Everyone has to start somewhere though..
  24. Bump, have no need for this guys. Its brand new, perfect for anyone changing to a Z32 AFM, makes it very easy to wire up. Need to sell asap to fund other things. Thanks, Abu
